Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos Prince Dayo Adeyeye, a former governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday night paid a private visit to Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state, DAILY INDEPENDENT has gathered. According to one of his aides who spoke with our correspondent on condition of anonymity, Adeyeye who lost the PDP ticket to Prof. Kolapo Olusola-Eleka, the anointed candidate of Governor Ayo Fayose met with Governor Amosun privately in Government House, Isale-Igbein. He was said to have discussed with the governor on the possibility of joining the All Progressives Congress ( APC) and collapsing his structures for Dr. Kayode Fayemi who emerged as the flag bearer of APC last Saturday. Sources said he decided to visit Amosun who is one of the power brokers in the APC on the possibility of a compensation if he assists the APC to victory in the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti state. Speaking with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Adeyeye confirmed the report that he was in Abeokuta on a private visit but said he can never join the APC. He said ” Who told you that? Okay, Yes, i was in Abeokuta but it was a private visit. I will never join the APC. I have not decided on which party to join for now but definitely not APC” he said. Why Fayose and the ipob urine drinkers are busy shouting 16:0, thinking Jonathan/PDP are still in power, Fayemi and APC are busy talking to people that matter in Ekiti and beyond. Let's watch out anyway. lalasticlala 33 Likes 1 Share |

Exercise in futility i must say, Dayo or whatever his name is is a persona non grata so long as Ekiti politics is concerned. He's just a pained political prostitute. He can even join forces with the devil himself, Prof Eleka' mandate Is sealed as the Governor-in-wait. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

We need a political revolution. Electorates should ignore all recycled politicians starting with Atiku. If you like cross-carpet to the moon. You will still fail. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Ordinary Nigerians, never, ever die for politicians! This same Prince Adeyeye insulted the hell out of APC and APC members both as a Minister under PDP's Jonathan and also as the Publicity Secretary of PDP under the chairmanship of Makarfi! In fact, on the eve of the primaries he lost to Fayose's boy, Prof. Olusola Eleka, he still insulted Fayemi and other APC candidates! Now, he's going to join the same APC! This potential is like La Mohammed defecting to PDP... Politics in Nigeria is funny- there's no PDP, APC, Labour, APGA, the ONLY umbilical cord is PERSONAL INTEREST! |

Nice One Adeyeye! I too dey like dis kain politician who dey think straight without considering the outcome. Prince Adeyeye Sir, even if you still stay in PDP, you will never be a Governor again in Ekiti - not now, never! Reason is, some people are not meant to rule which you're one of them. Jump to any party sir but forget about governing Ekiti although your son might be an option in future. Fayose is a razz man but a 2-time Governor.... Fayemi might rule again cos he was there once after long term legal battle which arguably defines him a leader who has been destined to rule. Some people won't just hold to destiny. Desperate people! 1 Like |
