Very soon Nigeria and Nigerians as a whole would be the least, or the bottom citizens of the world. We are soo mediocre, it's painful to watch.
Travelled to some countries in East Africa and most people never heard of internet fraud before. Why do West African's lack morals? So backward in everything, preach the reverse of everything.

I challenge you to name a continent whose Moral Values are as lowly as ours.

Lazy youths.

Cyber stealing is probably the highest form of invention their lazy brain can come up with.

What a pity.

There's no justification to stealing irrespective of the motive behind it. It's wrong and should be condemned . Ensure that you are ready to do the time in jail when caught. Well written script .

From Delta to America jail? Walai dat guy don blow grin
Temple1288:

A man was rendered homeless while trying to help someone he thought was an American fighting in Syria..

Everything the man tried saving all his life just vanished because of internet fraud..
But do you know what? The man went straight to FBI, and submitted the account of the person to them FBI asked Facebook to release everything concerning the account.. They found out that the Scammer is a Nigerian from Asaba, Delta State..... Now it was like a wire call to the Nigerian EFCC "Make sure you get him within a year"

Within 3months they caught him and submitted him to the US.
They put him in jail and he'd be staying for like 100yrssssssssassss

True talk
It's not easy tho, not everyone can bear hardship... But like you said "no justification for them". Majority doing a wrong thing doesn't make it right.

Re: The Celebrity Status Of Yahoo Boys In Nigeria by InvertedHammer: 4:27pm On May 14, 2018
They may try but they can never stop internet scam as long as there are people out there still paying them.

Once people stop paying, it will die a natural death.
Internet scam and armed robbery are inversely related. Increase in one yields a substantial decrease in the other.

In Nigeria, the end justifies the means. One can up it a notch by turning to philanthropy and all sins will be forgiven and even defended. Buy a car for the king. Donate money/building to the community. Give out cash to the poor and widows. Thereafter you are free to continue in your stock-in trade. The youths keenly watch all these and know that money is the king.

The effect of Politicians stealing our common wealth and fixing it abroad can never be overemphasized but the damage the youths are doing to their generation and those to come in the name of G-Boys is not just selfish but devilish, to say the least. While the former is an evil within which could somehow, someday be reversed; the effect of the later seems irredeemable, as it has a negative effect on our image, viewed from outward.

I know we have genuine youths toiling only daily basis with their wits for a better future while you are wasting yours in search of Crime....just know that you are a waste to your generation until you convert you brain to something positive and not selfish.

I don't really know why we are over flogging this cyber issue. The FG should just place a ban on this fraud issue and ensure any one found culpable should go in seriously for it. That would serve as a deterrent to our youths who are trying to join suit in the evil deal. But before then, the FG should try to establish industries and factories which will give employment to the teeming unemployed youths roaming the street.

Lengthy but worth the read.

Buhari is not the only problem of Nigeria. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. Many Nigerians are actually worse than Buhari.

We keep crying "the system is not working", please who is stopping the system from working if not we the Nigerians?!

All of you in support of fraudsters, I hope one day you wake up and all your savings and sweat has been wiped out and used to pop champagne in a club. Then una eyes go clear.

Some would say it is greed. Agreed, some victims are greedy, but what would you call the pensioner who thought she was giving her details to a bank officer to assist in "rectifying a problem with her bank account" only for her life savings to be wiped out?....what would you call that?

Have you taken your time to draft out something like this against our politicians? If you haven’t then stop being pained so many youth have taken into yahoo as a source of livelihood. Leave it to God, the same way you are leaving all corrupt politicians to God.

As for the so called yahoo. You think Nigerians youths know anything? Go ask Romania, China, Czech, United States, Finland, even Israel and the rest of the world you will be shocked to find out what so many of their youths does for a living. Blame the Government.

Not trying to throw dirt on any religion, but I once lived near a church where the pastor prays for yahoo boys (fraudsters) to be successful. You may think I am making this up, but I'm not. People respect money in Nigeria. Integrity is nothing; you are referred to as a fool if you are upright and principled. I see no end in sight; I hate what the yahoo had made us into, they make it difficult to buy things online in most places like Amazon, eBay, etc. Many sellers do not ship to Nigeria. If you interact with a foreigner the first they think is Nigerian Prince, some very hardworking Nigerians are losing out to these very bunch of misfits that low IQ hail as messiahs due to their stolen wealth. I just wish karma get to serve them their dish cold when they are old, let someone wipe their savings and make them feel the pain.
