A Palestinian man is interviewed on the official Palestinian Authority television station. He shows a picture of himself as a young man, taken in June 1948 in front of his house. He says that the Arab radio stations repetitively kept telling the Palestinians to leave the frontline for at most two weeks, and then the Arab regimes will bring the Palestinians back to Ein-Kerem, near Jerusalem. The man says they thought two weeks was too long of a time, and now 50 years have gone by. PA TV (Fatah), July 7, 2009. Palestinian man: "This picture of me was taken a week before we left Ein-Kerem [near Jerusalem], in June 1948, in front of our house. The radio stations of the Arab regimes kept repeating to us: 'Get away from the frontline. It's a matter of ten days or at most two weeks, and we'll bring you back to Ein-Kerem.' when Palestinians are admitting that they left by orders of the Arab armies as a tactical military move to enable the Arab armies to fight and massacre Jews without having their own civilians in the way. These are not refugees. A refugee is someone who is forced to leave or who flees violence for his safety. The argument in the propaganda videos you posted are self defeating. If the Palestinians left their land without any Israeli threats, harassment, ethnic cleansing and of their own volition, why won't the Israeli government allow them to return now on their own volition.
