The whole country saw the #EkitiAPC primary election and commended the Independent National Electoral Commission-INEC and His Excellency Al-Makura, the governor of Nasarawa State who oversaw the event and was declared peaceful.
Well, in all honesty, Ekiti people were superbly fooled and played on by the pseudo-transparency witnessed at the election which took place on 12th May, 2018 at Damlek Event Centre.
There was a connivance game among trio-the INEC, President Muhammadu Buhari and Fayemi. The election was basically to test-run one of the many rigging structures the All Progressive Congress-APC would embrace come 2019 at the general election, no wonder President Buhari said, “whether youths vote for me or not, I will still win in 2019”.
President Buhari was told by Fayemi how a photochromic technology would play a vital role in helping him win his second term ambition hence he ordered it to be test-run in Ekiti while he was so quick to say he has no favorite amongst the aspirant.
