That is a valid and objective request.

Even you should wonder why those who bandy this list, did not bother to provide a list showing the total staff distribution of the DSS.

So let them who obtained this recruitment distribution list equally obtain the total staff distribution list and propagate same all over the media, so we can all make an objective and informed opinion on whether the federal character principle is being adhered too.

And if it is determined that indeed the Jonathan regime and the Southern head of the DSS then did not follow the federal character principle, the right punitive penalties should apply to them. But if it is determined that the betray of the federal character principle has just occurred under this Buhari regime with a Northern head of the DSS, same punitive penalties should be applied.

We recently witnessed the ongoing recruitment into the police. How many candidates from the South bothered to apply compared to applicants from the North?

Did you apply to join the police in this current recruitment and met the requirements but was not shortlisted?

The recruitment into the many Direct Short Service for university graduates applying to the military has for many years followed a state based quota system for the federation.

Enlisting into the NDA has also followed a state based quota system.

The Customs has always and remains a cesspool of corruption in its whole operations that include recruitment. A corrupt and nepotistic situation that has benefited both Southerners and Northerners.
