Bayelsa State Chapter Passed a Vote of Confidence on
Governor Seriake Dickson. This was made known by the group Coordinator, Hon Solomon David as he explained why the youth wing of the people's Democratic party passed Vote of confidence on the administration of the Restoration Government.

He said his analysis are based on the achievements of the Dickson led administration. He added that the governor deserves commendation.

Hon Solomon David who has been an advocate of good governance and participatory governance right from his university days as Student Union President in the Niger Delta University, further said, Bayelsans can testify the massive transformation taking place, that “We are all living witnesses of the massive infrastructural development Bayelsa State has experienced since the inception of Governor Dickson in office. Hon Solomon stated that his position on passing vote of confidence on the Countryman Governor is based on the prosperity, peace and development the PDP youth Alliance has seen on ground for the number of years he has stayed in office and his developmental stride on a nonstop motion and acceleration basis. “Our group made this move based on the economic blueprint and achievements we have assessed and found being visible on ground. “We have seen the revolution in the various sectors of the State economy, and Bayelsans are enjoying the dividends of democracy more than any administration in the past. “His policies have been objective and focused on issues that concern the welfare of the people, and they have also put their trust and dependency on the economic roadmap of the government. “The economic empowerment Bayelsans have now is monumental and there is that sense of belonging of all segments of the citizenry in the state.

Also first time in the history of the State, the Governor has established the Izonebe Micro Finance Bank, to help farmers, small and medium scale enterprises business men and women to access loan facilities conveniently to grow and expand their businesses. Road networks here and there, the educational sector is unprecedented and he encouraged the Governor for the reform that is going on, that Bayelsans should give the Governor total support, even in the Niger Delta University he has done marvelously well in developing the university. Hon David also added that before the Governor came to power, the university was totally abandoned which led him to putting up numerous structures, including new academic blocks Staffs quarters, ultra modern university Senate building as well as Student hostels, Also before now, only few academic programmes were being accredited, thus, most faculties were in an eminent danger of collapse. Programmes such as Medicine, Engineering, Law, Accountancy and other vital sciences and humanitarian Programmes/ courses were not accredited. The Government of Dickson made it possible for these programmes to be accredited, thus giving the university the rightful image it deserved. So also, what about the almost completed airport. The coordinator also mentioned the Ebeni Bridge and many more projects. Comparatively, if you go to other States Government ministries of various commissioners offices, you will appreciate what Hon Henry Seriake Dickson has done and is still doing for the people of Bayelsa State. Hon Solomon David asked Bayelsans to take a walk to the information house and Education house, it is extra ordinary.
I tell you Governor Dickson is a God sent to our Bayelsa State, so don't judge him based on what you hear, but judge him base on what you see. This is the reason why the PDP Youth Alliance in Bayelsa State, has taken the bold step to preach the gospel of the PDP led government to all nooks and crannies of State. Until, the gospel of the PDP gets to every door post and the lost sheep of the PDP is recovered in totality in Bayelsa State, the PDP Youth Alliance shall not rest. Our C
