Two Catholic priests, Rev. Fr Joseph Gor and Rev. Fr Felix Tyolaha and 17 parishioners who were killed in an attack on St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Ukpor-Mbalom, Gwer East LGA of Benue State by suspected herdsmen have been buried today.

The Vice President, Pastor Yemi Osinbajo, the Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama attended the funeral.

The problem of this country (Nigeria) is as old as the history of the country. One thing I noticed about these herdsmen of a thing is that, most of the cows are owned by some army generals who is responsible for the killings by the herdsmen. These generals were the people that armed these people and told them to kill anyone that stops their cows from grazing. Now, why are they (soldiers finding it difficult to bring these herdsmen to book?
