Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has claimed that Olisa Metuh, former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is wanted dead. The PDP chieftain claimed that Metuh was wanted dead because he “opposes” President Muhammadu Buhari. In a tweet, on Thursday, Fani-Kayode wrote: “It is one thing to want to jail a man at all costs and destroy him even though he has done no wrong and simply because he opposes @MBuhari but it is quite another to want him dead. “What has Olisa Metuh done to warrant the sheer wickedness he is receiving from Justice Okon Abang?” Metuh, is currently standing trial before the Justice Okon Abang-led Federal High Court, Abuja for allegedly receiving the sum of N400m from former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki during the build-up to 2015 Presidential election. The former PDP spokesperson, whose application to travel abroad for medical treatment was denied had few days ago collapsed during court proceedings. Reacting to the incident, the trial Judge had said Metuh’s collapse was staged. http://www.mcebisco.com.ng/2018/05/dasukigate-why-buhari-wants-olisa-metuh.html

Though the former Adamawa State governor-Rtd.R.Adr.Murtala Nyako is being tried in the same court & also alleged to have stolen a more staggering amount of money than that of Metuh, he is even allowed to go abroad for treatment & not being harshly treated. I'm only advocating fair treatment for all & not the use of selective justice as being hypocritically shown by the present government. 1 Like |

Paperwhite: Your advocacy is damn too late and DOA. Better reservee it for Metuh. Moreover compare and contrast the two personalities: Metuh vs Nyako. Without any doubt one is sane and the other insane. Otherwise, how can you explain somebody chewing and swallowing paper. Shouldn't he of course be under a form of restrain. At best in an asylum. 3 Likes 1 Share |

All these attacks on Buhari and Justice Abang will not help Metuh. The case will continue no matter the theatrics of the accused and soonest, judgement will be entered. Metuh either defends himself or be sentenced to jail. Justice must be served in this case. 2 Likes 1 Share |
