Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr says only 25 players would be travelling to Wembley for the friendly match against England as he will drop five players from the 30-man provisional squad after the game against DR Congo in Port Harcourt on Monday.

The Franco-German stated this on Friday in a media parley with journalists at the Ibom Hotels and Golf Resorts where the team is camped in preparation for the friendly against DR Congo as a run-up to the Russia 2018 World Cup.

Rohr had released a 30-man provisional list ahead of the June 14 World Cup and he is expected to submit his final 23-man squad to FIFA latest June 4.

The Super Eagles coach could make his final team selection for the World Cup after the England game on June 2 as two players could be dropped before the team would jet to Austria where they will play the Czech Republic June 6.
