The Etsu Patigi,Alhaji Ibrahim Chatta Umar has charged politicians of All Progressive Congress in Patigi local government area of Kwara State to embrace peace and be united at all times.

The Etsu Patigi gave the charge during the visit of the delegation of Senate President Bukola Saraki to patigi led by Hon Kayode Omotose.

The delegation was on a fact-finding mission on happenings within the local government chapter of the party.

Receiving the team in his palace, the monarch noted that Patigi people are known for peace, and that it had remained so since his ascension to the throne.

He assured the delegation that the tempo of peace will be sustained in the area.

He also noted that the Senate President has been fair and honest to all party supporters, even as he charged him to do everything possible to
resolve the crisis within the party.

Also specking during the visit, the lawmaker representing Edu, Patigi and Moro Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon Aliyu Ahman-Pategi thanked Saraki for his intervention and promised to continue to do everything that will bring progress to the party and peace in the area.

The meeting was attended by party stakeholders,including a former head of service, Alhaji Dabarako Mohammed, Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Kolo Rifun, the local government chairman Salihu Gabi, party chairman, Mohammed Nma Haruna and some party supporters.
