What is Zakat again? The plan of the northern elite is to maintain their exponential population through their own version of Islamic values and help secure the inflow of huge allocation to loot. The same population is being used to maintain their grip of power at the national level.

We can't blame them, they have seen free money so they think they can spend anyhow on religion that add no value to average life. What's even the IGR of sokoto in a year, when they are spending this huge amount on religion.

I believe one of the reasons Boko Haram was created by northern elites is for their children to get free money through amnesty, same way as religion.

Now Sokoto's IGR is N4.5bn, N2.7bn can be estimated as 50% of the states IGR.. See for yourselves how its spent.

Think Nigeria, Be wise..

These politicians know what to say...love to throw out big money numbers...that impress sooo many people... who interpret these numbers as 'good development...he is working'.... most people swallow without chewing/analyzing like you've done here. Critical thinking is becoming extinct. Good job.
