A stroke patient who was rushed into a hospital gave up the ghost after the spouse pastor stopped the doctor from Injecting him.

UPDATE: Patient's spouse has given me a list of tablets to give him. The Pastor recommended it. I've politely pointed out that the patient is unconscious and can't take any tablets, besides its all multivitamins, aloe vera and stuff and it won't do much good. Tick Tock

UPDATE : Pastor finally picked his call, said we shouldn't do anything till he comes. Doubt if he did biology sef in WAEC but he's the chief consultant now. Other sick patients are legit begging this woman, unreal stuff while I pinch myself at 5mins interval, this is real ��

Final Update : Patient has absent pulse, nil breath sounds, absent heart beat, pupils fixed and dilated, resuscitation attempted and failed. Patient's dead.
Pastor came late which is kind of a relief because they would have said the injections killed the man. Man's not had breakfast cos of this. Anyways not a single dry eye right here ��

Honestly illiteracy is a huge problem in this part of the world, I bet you if the so called pastor is that educated he won't be saying this and if the people that brought the man are that educated they wouldn't have bother to consult with the pastor cos they will know what drug he will be injected with.
I'm no medical personnel but I can assure you that the little I have learnt from my curiosity about medicine can help me save many lives

Why would some all powerful being create creatures capable of reason and then demand that they act in a manner contrary to their creation? Fools, but why should the pastor be the one to dictate the treatment of an unconscious stroke patient? Who has time for that?
If those who brought the man to the hospital were not ready to have him treated, why bother coming to the hospital in the first place? Why didn't they take him to the pastor to treat him straight away?

Anyway, that doesn't mean the man wouldn't have still died even if they had started treatment but at least they would have given it a shot.

This is a genuine question, but how often do they run their CT scans in all these teaching hospitals in Nigeria? For example, how soon can an emergency stroke case like this have a CT on arrival at the hospital? You can't start thrombolysis till you exclude a bleed, or do they just do that? I know some infarcts don't show immediately on CT but bleeds do.
I fear CT scans don't work that often in the teaching hospitals, but i may be wrong sha.

Nothing to do with illiteracy. In Nigeria, religion is number one. You have got to give it to Nigerian pastors. They can hypnotize anyone, no matter your level of education. There are countless Professors and Drs in higher instutions that have also been hypnotized.

People just foolery in the name of religion,I'm sure someone that truly knows God won't do that because God would have advised the person to go to the hospital. Or would 've heard the voice of God clearly.

Some people don't use their senses again all in the name of religion. My colleague at work yesterday was telling me that he has been strong (that's religious way of saying you are sick) I didn't tell him sorry or asked how he is doing, I'm not trying to be insensitive here but how can you sympathize with someone that is STRONG. Just call a spade a spade, it won't kill you.

People play religion. I see people saying religion is a problem...true but if you practice true Christianity I'm sure you would know that it didn't advised one to be stupid.
