Well, that we will discover soon. Hold on for Abia Online report on this issue.... ================================== ================================== OUR STUDENTS WERE NOT RAPPED, OVIM GIRLS HEADMISTRESS EXPLAINS TO GOVERNOR. #AbiaOnline Following reports that students of Methodist Girls Model Secondary School Ovim, Isiukwuato LGA were allegedly rapped last week, the Headmistress of the school has explained to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and other Abians that no student of the school was rapped. Conducting the Governor and his wife round the school premises, the Headmistress of School, Mrs Ezinne Ibenye debunked the reports that 15 students of the school were raped by hoodlums last week. She said that there was no case of rape adding that the girls were there to confirm that. She further explained that suspected criminals broke into the hostel and were trying to steal from the students, maintaining that it was when the girls raised alarm, that the hoodlum hit some of them in the head with an iron and escaped. The girls interevied narrated their story and comfirmed that none of them were rapped as alleged. They attributed the whole thing to criminal attack on them. In a reaction, the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu expressed displeasure over the incident and promised that the State government would support the church and school authority to ensure safety of the students. The Governor also promised that his government would provide a 50KVA generator and install street light within the school premises to improve the security of the premises.

Cutehector:The initial report didn't make sense bro. It is possible that some of the girls were raped during the "robbery attack" but saying that the attackers were just there to rape doesn't make any sense. |
