At least 5 persons have been feared dead after a heavy rainfall that occured yesterday. According to an eyewitness who shared the news with 9News Nigeria correspondent,

"About 7.00pm yesterday, a heavy downpour caused flood on a bridge along Karshi - Jeje - Takalafia road in Abuja, bordering Nasarawa State has drowned several cars and bodies. At the moment 2 bodies recovered, other bodies and cars still in search. Very horrible experience here,"he said.
