The Nigeria Police Force has claimed that three identified members of a robbery gang that launched attacked on bank and police station recently in Offa, kwara State, were among people that accompanied Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on condolence visit to the community monarch palace after the incident.

It insisted that Saraki, mentioned by Offa robbery gang leader, Ayoade Akinnibosun, was still under investigation, the restatement of which came after the police arrested two of three suspects listed by those earlier arrested.

As gathered from the police, Akinnibosun and two other suspects including Ibukunle Ogunleye and Adeola Abraham, were among people who accompanied Saraki to Oloffa’s Palace during a condolence visit to Offa after the bank robbery.
