In the history of Saudi Arabia, they have just commenced the issuing of drivers licence after so much deliberation and facilitation by many activist and political stake holders.
Government of Saudi Arabia have issued a statement saying that about 10 women were granted license. many are in high hopes for more applications.

Our source has it that “Expectations are that next week an additional 2,000 women will join the ranks of licensed drivers in the kingdom,” the statement said.

However, the bill which was later passed into law is facilitated by the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who has always moved to modernize the country.

It is unfortunate that many who spare headed this campaign were imprisoned for their relentless effort and political efficacy.
