Sir,

Today you might not have been celebrated or appreciated, but at least you have long been vindicated. June 12 was the freest and fairest election in Nigeria's history. You never took sides with the oppressors. You put your life on the line by manning and coordinating what is being celebrated today in 1993.

It is understandable as to why you were not recognized. Doing so would have spoilt the day. Perhaps they have reserved another day for your recognition, maybe by this time next year, after you must have aided in voting them back to power, or maybe when your Igbo ethnicity does so by "falling in line".

I personally do not want you to be carried away by the Greek gift of this present administration. While Abiola's mandate recognition is a laudable move by the presidency, Death and poverty still roams everywhere in this country, nothing has been done about it.

May 30th, a day given to pay a sit-at-home tribute to victims of the Nigeria-Biafra war was a success despite the government's show of force in the south east. While Igbo played a huge role in the Democratization of June 12, we should be more concerned about our own heroes and regional development.

Despite contributions to june 12, let us focus on our own, if we speak about June 12, they would say we igbos are hateful and jealous. They didn't say the same to wole Soyinka who raised an eyebrow on buharis body language on June 12.

Professor Nwosu, in time you will be remembered. I salute your maturity and wisdom as regards June 12. I read your letter to presidency published today on news tabloids. Very apt, very mature and deep.

God bless you sir.

Your fan,
Ofai

Ambitious? How? If lalasticlala does not push it, those who will read and digest it will still do so. I have no qualms with lalasticlala

Oh!...okay, i thought that was ur reason for coping(mentioning) him.

Btw its a good write up...am sure Yorubas are quite smart, the trojan horse will de decapitated in less than a month.

The major objective of June 12 declaration this year and not in 2015, 2016 or even 2017 is to divide the south and create an impression.

Its difficult to rig an election without public perception and media propaganda that winning could be possible.

If Sowore is as smart as he claims this is the right time to cash-in, June 2012 serves him better and stronger goodwill and if he doesn't then he's indeed an obvious Tinubu puppet as most pple argue.
