Losing by two goals carelessly is not even the issue for me but the problem is the lacklustre performance & the emptiness of any attempt to create a single chance at goal. Croatia did not play anything spectacular. A team could lose 3-0 in a match but could display wonderful football & U'ad still have hope in them for another game but in the case of Nigeria with what I watched tonight no hope whatsover infact Nigeria is coming out with just a point in this round. #Fact

I was surprised that our team could wrestle the midfield with Croatia.



This current team have the same problem with all our past teams..... We don't know how to defend nor make use of set pieces and it kills us all the time.

Iwobi was also played way way out of position and there was not a number 8 to link the midfield with our forwards particularly to Ighalo.

.....and then there is also a lack of experience. The manner in which we lost the match is quite painful. The World Cup is for veterans and not rookies.

Our best player on the field for me tonight was Etebo. He held and played fantastically well in the midfield.
