University Of Benin Final Year Student Of Fine and Apllied Arts, Ifeanyi Dickson was earlier today celebrated by the Nigerian Vice President, YEMI OSINBAJO as well as the Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki for his mind blowing innovative talent. Ifeanyi's collage art works made from wasted nylon wrappers aimed at solving environmental pollution and thereby contributing my creative painting piece to create jobs for millions of Nigerians caught the presidency's attention.

His innovate painting was endorsed by the Nigerian Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo and the Edo State Governor, saying he would take the work to Aso Rock to show President Buhari and the potrait would be used for design in presidential villa in Abuja. He extends his thanks to God, to Mr. Enotie, Emmanuel Oluwasayomi Ahmadu (Most Popular Student In Nigeria 2017) and all the artists at Edo Global Art Center who have contributed greatly to this success.

Ifeanyi Dickins was born on the of March, 1994, hails from Ndukwa West Local Government of Delta State. Dickins is a product of the University of Benin where he's currently undergoing a 4 years degree program at the Department of Fine and Applied Art. He also practices art at the Edo Global Art Center.

Dickin's passion for art started as far back as when he was 8 years old. He developed his painting skills during his practice at Nosona Studio under the tutorage of Mr. Enotie Ogbebor. Dickens uses nylon wrappers to makes beautiful collage painting which he explained that these nylon wrappers represent the less privileged and persons living with disabilities.

These people have over time being victim of circumstance. They are often regarded as being inferior and sometimes deprived of certain right and privileges. Just as people think less of the less privileged ones, people also disregard nylon wrappers. Where others may see waste he sees wealth if properly utilized. That is why he uses nylon wrappers sourced from refuse dump to make collage painting. He strongly believes that every member of the society should be treated equally, irrespective of their age, gender or status.

He also believes that these nylon wrappers posses as a great treat to the immediate environment, taking about 10 to 15 years to decomposed and could course serious ecological hazard if combust. Dickens collects this waste from her immediate environment and makes use of them to make art works. He in turn keeps the environment clean in his quest to creating wealth. He also believes that a lot of youths could be trained and equipped to make beautiful art piece with nylon wrappers of any other material within the immediate environment.

In the quest of the Vice president to reach out to encourage grassroots development, the Vice President saw his wonderful works and he pledge his support to help him achieve his dreams, in his effort towards giving hope to the hopeless and keeping Nigeria clean.
