IBB acted on Pressure from Abacha to scuttle June 12 to enable him be Head of State. Clever IBB, knowing how Soldiers operate, cleverly stepped aside and put Abiola's relation, Shonekan in Position. Abacha didn't quite like that idea. He quickly went to harass Shonekan out of Office. That was Military way of Reasoning. All this while, Buhari was prominently behind Abacha:- He and Abacha toppled Shagari. Abacha did not like it when IBB took Power from Buhari. Buhari is well aware of the Special relationship between OBJ&IBB and was especially amused when Abacha jailed OBJ. Had it been that Nigeria is not in Democracy now, Buhari would have jailed OBJ. OBJ knew what was amiss and at stake when he tried to settle the Rift between IBB&PMB. PMB is still bottling up against OBJ. The Honouring of MKO with GCFR is within Buhari's Competent action, provided he got the approval of The Council of State or acting on some blanket authorisation. But the Substitution of Democracy Day for June 12 is unconstitutional, a Spite, a Ruse, a Ploy and a camouflaged Subterfuge to play into The Gallery of The Yorubas. Yorubas don't want to monopolise Democracy Day. Yorubas value MKO ABIOLA'S RIGHTS DAY. THAT'S YORUBA'S ENTITLEMENT EARNED GLORIOUSLY FOR THEM BY THEIR SON. DEMOCRACY DAY IS A DAY ON WHICH DEMOCRACY WAS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PEOPLE. WE KNOW THE TRUTH. WE MUST LIVE BY THE TRUTH. GOD BLESS NIGERIA !!! |
