That night we trouped with hopes held high to viewing centres all around For weeks the world's stage mounted we high taking accolades for jersey designs And so we watch with hearts aflame And odds of bets to bid us luck We've got a pig that's sniffed our name It must be right, it's never failed And boy! We made a presentation. We generously conceded a goal and a penalty with a formation that makes sense to no one but the coach Who or what is responsible we ask? Perhaps the President's call it was?
