Come For Us All, Secondus Dares Buhari by UcheSecondus: 4:52pm On Jun 22, 2018
FOLLOWING what he perceived as a clampdown on opposition by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressive Congress (APC) federal government, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has expressed the readiness of all the party leaders to go to jail and has therefore challenged the president to come for them.

His declaration came at the heels of the arrest and detention of former Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswam by the Department of State Security (DSS).

Secondus, who was speaking while leading the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) to play host to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja on Friday, revealed that the party has dispatched its governors to interface with the DSS over Suswam’s detention.

The party boss declared President Buhari a failure, saying that Nigerians were yearning for a return of the former ruling party.
He, therefore, said the only way to meet the expectations of the citizens was for the party to ensure free, fair and transparent primary elections at all levels to regain the confidence of the people.

Mr President needs to look for other tactics to win the 2019 election, why go about trying to silent the opposition party. Is he that scared of failure? Always deceptive in his ways, very irritating and childish. i support Secondus on this. This President needs to get out as he is so short-sighted and shallow minded. Irritating...

Nigeria cannot continue like this, Why would the ruling party be the chief culprit in the intimidation of Nigerians. politicking has started but the level at which the ruling party are going about it is just wrong and undemocratic.

APC stop heating up the polity and learn to act in the same way our past leaders did.

The steady harassment on the opposition by the PMB led Govt is ridiculous and mischievous. It's undemocratic and doesn't speak well of Nigeria being a Figure Head in Africa. This are the repercussion of having a dictatorial Presaident like PMB. Plz lets vote this Monster out come 2019

PMB having realized that they stand no chance in the 2019 general elections, PMB and co are now deploying all wicked machinations to cause confusion, heighten political tension, hounding and arresting of opposition leaders in the country...

The clampdown on the opposition is a deliberate attempt by the ruling APC government to silenced the opposition. The ruling party should learn to play the game according to the rules.

APC is afraid of losing the presidency thereby using all the machination against the PDP in a bid to scutle the election. They should abide by the principle of democracy.

Its high time PMB realize that he is fighting a lost battle. The umbrella party has reinforced and learnt from their mistakes knowing quite well that only a free, fair and credible election will make Nigerians regain their trust in them.If Baba goes after all PDP heads and its subordinates one thing is certain that he is not returning to the villa and i believe his already getting the signal that is why he is bent on frustrating innocent people .It is either now or never

PMB, should know that no matter what tactics he use to threaten PDP, Nigerians will not vote him back for second term.

I just hope that INEC conducts a free and credible election and see how the opposition will be disgraced. If only Baba has the attributes like GEJ to accept defeat, then history is about to unveil itself again come 2019 because we can not continue like this all in the name of been a president. What Legacy is he leaving behind? We have lost total confidence in you PMB. Please grant Nigerians their wishes by stepping down voluntarily
