The ondo state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has hailed the Super eagles for their 2-0 victory over Iceland in the ongoing World Cup football competition presently going on in Russia .

Governor Akeredolu, who praised the national team’s resilient performance during the match, also asked the team to keep up the winning tempo and patriotism in its next match against Argentina on Tuesday.

Akeredolu also called on Nigerians to emulate the act of patriotism and selflessness displayed by the team during the match, saying it will go a long way at achieving the desired goals as a united nation.

The governor advised all Nigerians to begin to see themselves as one, adding that the performance of the Super Eagles should rekindle the spirit of oneness and unity of purpose as displayed by the team throughout the duration of the match.
