Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State and frontline aspirant for the national chairmanship position of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has said God really blessed Nigerians by putting it in their minds to elect President Muhammadu Buhari and rejecting Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 general elections.

Speaking with DAILY INDEPENDENT in Abuja, Oshiomhole who said Nigeria was alomsot going under with Jonathan at the helm of affairs added that from the daily revelations being made under the Buhari administration, Nigerians have clearly seen the level of monumental corruption that took place under the Jonathan administration.

He said: “I thank God that He blessed the Nigerian people by directing their thoughts during the last election to vote in President Buhari and excuse former president Jonathan. Because clearly from all the revelations now, those of us and those other Nigerians who believe that the level of corruption and theft of public fund has gotten to a level that is no longer sustainable to a point that President Buhari said if we don’t kill corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria.

Ofcourse, God will bless the people that voted which you now are benefiting from. Any Nigerian who've benefited this way would say the same thing. But Oshiomole should know that he is part of Nigeria's problems, and just because Buhari's Nigeria has worked out financially for him and his family doesn't mean Nigerians will repeat the 2015 mistake in 2019.

Besides, the Northwest and Northeast parts of Nigeria do not have enough voters to return Buhari to office in 2019. Shamefully, all the killings in Nigeria which Oshiomole now happily supports will surely make his office short-lived.

Oshiomole is on the wrong side of history and he will be disgraced when the 2019 election result are announced.
