I'm in a contract/ an agreement with my spouse but an everlasting bond with my mom. While the contract with a spouse can be dissolved, annulled, the bond with my mom is everlasting/unbreakable. The love for spouse and love for parents are completely different. 2 Likes |

A man should "leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife". " Leaving" mentioned in the bible is not just leaving their home but emotionally and otherwise.
