Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God?
Going straight to the point without beating about the bush, the answer is no. Nominal Christians and Muslims always carelessly say we worship the same God but a devoted worshiper of either of this religions can sincerely tell you we are not worshiping the same God.
Consider the following few attributes of Allah in Quran and God in the Bible then you can make the judgement by yourself. No addition whatsoever, let the Bible, Quran and the hadith speak for themselves on these few nature of God.

Son of God
Bible: Mark 9:7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
Quran: 6:101. He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have children when he has no wife? He created all things and He is the All-Knower of everything

Love for the world/sinners
Bible:John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Quran: Qur’an 3:31-32—Say [O Muhammad]: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers. 

Condition for end of the world
Bible: Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Hadith: Sahih Muslims 41:6985
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

Love in the family
Bible: Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Quran: 34. Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allāh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (tosupport them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Alläh : and to their husbands), and guard the husband's absence what Allah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity and their husband's property). As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next)
refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful); but if they return to
obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Alläh is Ever Most High,
Most Great.

Guarantee for heaven
Bible: Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Quran: Surat 9:111 Verily. Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties for (the price) that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allah's Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurat (Torah) and the lnjil (Gospel) and the Our‘an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success.

Propagation
Bible: Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Quran: Surat 8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polythcism, i.e. worshipping others besides Allah). and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah). then certainly. Allah is All-Seer of what they do!”

Apostasy
Bible: (An example was found in the Bible but no prescribed punishment in the New Testament.) 2 Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
Quran: Surat 4:89. They wish that you reject Faith, as they have rejected (Faith), and thus that you all become equal (like one another). So take not Aaliyé' (protectors or friends) from them till they emigrate in the way of Allah (to Muhammad is ). But if they turn back (from Islam). take (hold of) them and kill them wherever you find them and take neither Auliya (protectors or friends) nor helpers from them

Sexuality in heaven
Bible: Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
Quran: Surat 55:70. Therein (Gardens) will be Khairatun-Hisan [fair (wives) good and beautiful]:
72. Hur (beautiful fair females) guarded in pavilions;
74. With whom no man or jinni has had Tamth (sexual intercourse) before them.
Surat 78: 31-34 verily for the muttaqun there will be a success (paradise); gardens and vineyards and young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age.

Whether contrary religious worshipers will get to heaven
Bible: John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Quran: Surat 3:85 And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam as a religion, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

After considering this few attributes of God I believe you can tell whether this are the same God or not. The choice is yours to choose who to follow but never make the mistake of assuming these are the same God. They are far apart, it is a matter of life or death, heaven or hell. Make sure you make a wise decision.
