@Stimulus,
I think you are taking Backslider too seriously; you should not. Backslider is somebody whose knowledge is now setting him for 'backward sliding' through pride. He is now so ignorant that a casual look through his TD Jakes copy and paste shows somebody picking an arguement with somebody due to his own poor understanding and comprehension.

THE DOCTRINE AND THE MAN CREFLO DOLLAR

(Creflo Dollar, Audio clip from, "The Bible answer-man," Hank Hanegraaff July 10, 2003)

"I have equality with God, chats my way of thinking. Now somebody says, "Well, it's hard to think that way," Well, keep saying it, "I have equality with God" talk yourself into it! You've talked yourself into other things!"

The following are excerpts from Creflo Dollar's program Jesus' Growth into Sonship, dated December 8, 15, 2002.

"Here's what I want you to get here. If Jesus came as God, then why did God have to anoint Him? If Jesus - see God's already been anointed. If Jesus came as God, then why did God have to anoint Him? Jesus came as a man, that's why it was legal to anoint him. God doesn't need anointing, He is anointing. Jesus came as a man, and at age 30 God is now getting ready to demonstrate to us, and give us an example of what a man, with the anointing, can do." -- Creflo Dollar

Creflo has forgotten that the Anointed one is his name also abi does he not read the bible?

"Jesus didn't come as God, he came as a man, and he did not come perfect. Perfect in the sense that he didn't need to be added to." -- Creflo Dollar

True or False?

"But Jesus didn't show up perfect, he grew into his perfection. You know Jesus, in one scripture in the Bible he went on a journey, and he was tired. You better hope God don't get tired. Isaiah 50 says, 50, 60, somewhere, says where we have a God who fainteth not, neither is weary (Isa. 40:28). But Jesus did, if he came as God and he got tired, he says he sat down by the well 'cause he was tired. Boy we're in trouble. And somebody said, well, Jesus came as God. Well how many of you know the Bible says God never sleeps, nor slumbers. And yet in the book of Mark we see Jesus asleep in the back of the boat.
Y'all please listen to me, please listen to me. This ain't no heresy. I am not some false prophet, I am just reading this thing out to you the Bible. I am just telling you all these fantasy preachers have been preaching all of this stuff for all of these years and we bought the package. And the question mark was there. And we are now - faith can never go past that question mark, and we've tolerated and put it up, put up with things that we had authority over" , -- Creflo Dollar

This Guy is what the bible calls a LovePeddler. I personally listened to this tape over and over again.

"Some people get mad when I talk about money, they say, 'Whenever I see Dollar he's talking about money!' That's because you ain't got none! I ain't talking to you!"

Church of the Mighty Dollar
With houses of worship in Atlanta, New York City, Australia, Europe, Nigeria, South Africa, and Britain, World Changers Church International is
one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in the nation. Led by Pastor Creflo A. Dollar, a flamboyant African-American preacher, WCCI has some 25,000 members and an annual budget of more than $70 million. His message, known as "prosperity gospel," implores followers to enrich
themselves in every way, spiritually and financially, through the teachings of his church. Indeed, Pastor Dollar, whom critics have dubbed "Pass The
Dollar" and "Cashflow Dollar" for his ostentatious displays of wealth, is not shy about his success. He owns two Roll-Royces and flies the country in
a Gulfstream-3 private jet. Fellow Atlanta ministers, schooled in the humble tradition of Reverend Martin Luther King, have criticized the 43-year-old Dollar for putting money before ministry. WCCI members can tithe online by setting up automatic account withdrawals managed by the church.
But Dollar's message is resonating with many evangelicals, especially poor blacks drawn to the idea of pulling themselves out of poverty because the
Bible willed it so. A new church in rented space in New York's Madison Square Garden has drawn 5,000 members in the last three months. WCCI is
adding between 2,000 and 3,000 members per year. It will soon launch a Spanish-language church led by a Mexican priest, targeted at Atlanta's
booming Hispanic immigrant population ("Business Week Online," May 23, 2005). [TBC: "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10).]

Re: Mark Them: False Prophets And Prophetess by stimulus(m): 8:47pm On Mar 29, 2007
@Backslider,

Certainly, the Bible urges us to expose the unfruitful works of darkness (Eph. 5:11) and to do so in a spirit of meekness to the brethren (Gal. 6:1). It's not my style to denounce you or anyone as a false prophet - until you qualify as one.

We are not ignorant of the duplicity of many televangelists and the insidious seed of the "Prosperity Gospel" (more appropriately, the "Gospel of Greed"wink they propagate. My concern, however, is that many 'apologists' are dishonest in their attempts at exposing the mishaps. An example is your reference on the Trinity issue.

I've actually heard worse from other "WOF" (Word Of Faith) televangelists. Creflo Dollar's mentor (Kenneth Copeland) once referred to God as a 6ft man with a hand span of 9 inches! Benny Hinn at one time referred to the Trinity as consisting of "9 of them!" No, these are not things I was told - I have their tapes in my library.

Bottomline line is: let's have the decency to be honest with a pure motive when disavowing herecies pretenciously laced as "Christian". More than that, let us be careful ourselves - yea, let him that thinketh he standeth, take heed lest. . .!!"
Re: Mark Them: False Prophets And Prophetess by Backslider(m): 10:07pm On Mar 29, 2007
Thank you

Some of the tapes I have heard them myself and I cannot be Silent on it atleast not now. If we are Silent in our discourse and We go challenging other faiths of heresy when our so called Christian brothers are propagating falsehood to our face.

Ezekiel 13

1And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;
3Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

ezekiel 33 7So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

8When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

9Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

10Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

11Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

When I heard the tapes I was so sad and I was angered that I wasted time arguing with people from another BOOK when people that used the same book were completely in Heresy and are waxing stronger in it.

I have attended Churches but I did not know that they could be this dangerous. I watched part of Juanita Bynum In between the Sheets and Teach me how to love and this is pornography repackaged.

Juanita was in Ghana to mark the 50 years of Ghana. Should we keep silent? No very Big No Juanita say she just has to be the Dr Ruth of Christendom.

I have read some articles and I discarded them as wrong and I will not post it here. Stimulus my aim is not to stair hate but to give the sign post of this Charlatans.

Their are other people that are not known in Africa and they will think that she is really a prophetess. I know a false Prophet when I see one but that people will follow and I will not say a thing God forbid. Jeremiah 1 verse

15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.

17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.

19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

I have a write up on Meyer but I have not yet dealt with it because I am not convinced. I am however of the opinion that she is too extravagant but that is my opinion. I have listened to preachings too and I dont agree with it. But I will listen well before I can come here.

I have info on benny Hinn Infact God so loves this Guy that he sent an Old man to preach to him. I have seen where Benny Hinn was seen with people smoking dope.

Believe me brother I am saddened and I just pray I enter into my holy faith as soon as possible so that I will stop talking and acting.
Re: Mark Them: False Prophets And Prophetess by TV01(m): 11:37am On Mar 30, 2007
Hi @All,

I've been following and very much appreciate where BackSlider is coming from, although I may not have approached it in the same way.

The truth is there is a lot out there on the religious landscape that claims to be Christian and is not. Many will be decieved, fall and stumble because of such people.

The Bible is unambiguous about this. And they will for the most part arise from within. And while I said I would possibly approach it differently to BackSlider, I doubt wether I would adopt the trite response of calling everyone brother or saying we will all stand before our maker (although that is patently true), just because the called themselves Christian. It's life and it's death and some of these people are enemies of the Cross.

As ever, I don't like to talk about personalities (maybe that's something I need to get over?), but to comment on some of what has passed.

1. T. D Jakes ~ As Stimulus said, I don't think issue cannot be taken with him on the basis of his understanding or articulating of the Trinity. And I hope on this point at least BackSlider can accept that.

2. Could someone please show me what in NT Christinity would require a "Prophetess to the Nations"? What does that mean ? What does it entail??

We have spoken at length about women in authority (with liberty to disagree with one another), church structure and the like. Personally, I don't see it.

When I first came across Juanita Bynum, I wondered what all the fanfare was about. I was particularly interested as a lot of the young (read single  grin) women were so into her and her "ministry".

I obtained a copy of her book (the first one I think), she mentioned her "divorce", albeit briefly. My reading of it was her clearly saying "that God took her out of that marriage". That is not how I understand God, or what I understand God to be saying about marriage. Maybe someone could set me straight on that?

I read/hear/see the odd thing about her, the Million $ wedding etc etc. To be honest, I've seen nothing I like and to be blunt she leaves me cold.

To me personally it is neither here nor there, in a very individual sense, she has zero impact on my personal walk. What impact I think her "ministry" may have on others is another thing.

Without overstepping the mark, we should be free to question and scrutinise, the doctrines and practices of all who claim to be followers of Christ. We do it amongst ourselves (and the various traditions) here on Nairaland all the time. Why are those with a high profile, following or "ministry" exempted? Indeed, they should be subject to greater examination. Remember the words of James on teachers?

God bless

Precisely well-said; and where my views are challenged instead of swallowed wholesale, I'd be all the happier to learn and grow beyond my present maturity in Christ.

I don't need to wait and be asked: Juanita Bynum is a commercial prophetess who has perfected the art of snakeoil salesmanship. I pity those who 'rub her oil on their skins' (so to speak) - the next you know, we shall be hearing of snake-scales as well.

Perhaps I over-reached myself there. However, people should settle down and prayerfully read the Bible before celebrating any minister/ministry. Noise and hype aside, the chaff looks like the wheat; but the substance is not the same. I wish there was a way I could load up the full-length tapes and CDs of some of these grifters so readers could hear stuff for themselves.

May God bless me first - by opening my eyes more to His truth; before I pray that prayer for anyone else! Bless up brethren!
Re: Mark Them: False Prophets And Prophetess by batu: 2:11pm On Mar 30, 2007
@TV01 and Stimulus,
Thanks to you guys for your maturity and wisdom. I am in all total agreement with your positions and statement because the denominator of your posts is one virtue i.e Discernment! That is the responsiblity of every christian, no doubt!! I personally dont wait for 10 seconds before changing the channel whenever Juanita comes on the screen on my TV; but does it make me qualify to declare that she is a Jezebel and going to hell?, just as the "backsliding pharisee" is doing? The simple fact is her ministry might not be relevant to me personally, but others might find meaning in her teachings.

In the book of Acts in the Bible, we read of the Christians of Berea who after listening to Peter's preaching, the Bible stated that "they went home and searched the scriptures to verify what they were being taught." That is the responsiblity of every single christian; to study, grow and discern the words and thoughts of God personally even while learning under some leadership of Pastors or Bishops. While there could be justified criticism of personalities in the faith, that should stop short of irrelevant accusations and passing judgement of hellfire and brimstone as as is the doctrine of "the church of backslider" based on his own poor understanding.

In the "job description" of a Bishop/Pastor/Overseer etc as written in 1st Timothy 3, one of the points is that a Bishop should not be an object of justified criticism (paraphrased!!),so there is no excuse to exempt anybody from evaluating the life and teachings of any Pastor or Bishop. But when such evaluations are now induced by spirit of jealousy, envy and strife, it becomes easy to come under the influence of the 'enemy' and become an agent of serdition as Backslider has now "yielded his members" to become.
The question is, does he have a problem with Juanita, TD Jakes and Crefllo Dollar, etc 'really' because of legitimate doctrinal issues or just because they are prosperous and teaching among other things, that "above all things Christians should prosper, even as their soul prospereth"(?)

I know what real wealth is and I am not against wealth (with no Sorrow). I know what is Godliness and contentment?. I don't even care what these people have. I am never Jealous about their money or property. I left Naija for a particular reason. You can say all you like, there can be Godliness and Content that is my theme.

This pastor are living in million dollars houses and expensive cars and the house of Worship is under Mortgage.

I am however grateful that you agree that their doctrine is completely false.

Please brother Batu if You really don't like me but that is your candid opinion. All this people i have mentioned if they repent before a bigger calamity fall on them and i know, I will be the first one to come here to tell you that they have repented.

This people according to the bible standard can not be called pastors or Bishop. There Church is the synagogue of Satan

I repeat They are Charlatans. I can tell you there was the Chance for me to be a Charlatan Came but I know God and He KNOWS ME WELL WELL.

I don't play with fire.

This People will have my honor when they fear God they are false Prophet They can do nothing BECAUSE I SAY THEIR ANOINTING IS OF THE DEVIL

I know the Anointing of God when I see one. The anointing of God is one that Jesus Carried. He was meek he was moderate.

I have lead people as a young Christian leader in Nigeria and I am not the least moved by all kinds of sayings I have faced it and I know I ain't nothing yet.

Please dearly beloved Batu. I have not Insulted no one here and If I did please tell me I will take back and apologize. If it about the life this people are living they are daughters of Jezebel and their way leads to hell and eternal Damnation.

The men have betrayed Jesus and no matter of sacrileges they offer their sins are ever before them and Until they repent according to the bible the Kingdom of God is shut to them.

THE JOB THIS PEOPLE HAVE IS TO SEND MEMBERS TO HELL GIVING THEM FALSE HOPE. SAME THING MOHAMED IS DOING AND WE ARE SILENT.

WE MUST DIFFERENTIATE THE SHEEP FROM THE FOXES.

DONT YOU KNOW THAT ALL FOXES EAT SHEEP? THIS IS THE JOB OF THIS EVIL MEN THAT SAY THEY ARE ANGEL OF LIGHT.

WE ALL ARE TO WEEP FOR THE LORD TO SEND HIS SPIRIT. WOE UNTO ME IF I COVET THERE MONEY WOE UNTO ME IF I AM JEALOUS OF THERE WEALTH.

Backslider,
You are very right, I despise what you represent: you are a loud and ignorant "Christian", a charlatan, and you've further confirmed your frustration with your disjointed thoughts. You "dont care what these people have" but at the same time you are whining about their "living in million dollar houses and expensive cars"
Can you post the link to where they are paying the mortgage for their church, or you are now just gainsaying and generalizing? No you are not jealous, you are just bitter and consumed by "poverty of thinking." What do you know about America apart from what you read from the silly websites where you copy the rubbish from?

I am however grateful that you agree that their doctrine is completely false.

In addition to your various lies, now you also have a problem with comprehension. I am not surprised, you are operating under the influence of the "spirit of confusionist", who is the "accuser of the brethren"; and not the Spirit of God. Where did I say their doctrine is false? Are you really alright?

Please, stop calling me your brother. You can call yourself a "Christian" but you are a charlattan and not a disciple of Jesus Christ. I think you need to see a psychiatrist, maybe you think you've died on the cross and resurrected just like Jesus Christ. The only "synagogue of satan" is your backsliden mind that appears to be the domain of the "enemy."

Benny Hinn

Just a sampling of Benny's prophesies that have never come true therefore making them false prophesies comes from the Orlando
Christian Center, Dec. 31st, 1989. "The Spirit tells me - Fidel Castro will die - in the 90's. Oooh my! Some will try to kill him and they
will not succeed. But there will come change in his physical health, and he will not stay in power, and Cuba will be visited of God."
-- Benny Hinn. Orlando Christian Center, Dec. 31st, 1989.
"The Lord also tells me to tell you in the mid 90's, about '94-'95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of
America. [audience applauds] But He will not destroy it - with what many minds have thought Him to be, He will destroy it with fire.
And many will turn and be saved, and many will rebel and be destroyed." -- Benny Hinn

Does this Seem Familiar?

Hinn revealed that he periodically visits Kuhlman's grave and that he is one of the few with a key to
gain access to it. He also visits Aimee's grave, where he says: "I felt a terrific anointing , I was shaking all over , trembling under
the power of God , 'Dear God,' I said, 'I feel the anointing.' , I believe the anointing has lingered over Aimee's body."

Hinn would like to blow the heads off his enemies As for his critics, Hinn says: "You know, I've looked for one verse in the Bible
-- I just can't seem to find it -- one verse that says, 'If you don't like'em, kill'em." I really wish I could find it! , Sometimes I wish
God would give me a Holy Ghost machine gun. I'd blow your head off,. " The TBN studio audience loudly applauded those gracious
words from the "man of God." Surely we are seeing fulfilled the primary sign Christ gave of the nearness of His return- "For there
shall arise false christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall
deceive the very elect." Let us seek to know God and His Word and to walk in obedience to Him, contending earnestly for the faith
which was once for all delivered to the saints. He's coming soon! (Dave Hunt, "Signs of the Times," CIB Bulletin, Jan. 1992)

*************************************************************************************************
As you can see, Benny Hinn has been at this false stuff for quite some time. Still today he is preaching to thousands upon thousands
the same ridiculous message which has no holiness and respect for either Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Benny continues to use the Holy
Spirit like he would a whipping boy or a slave. Benny demands the Holy Spirit to do whatever Benny wants Him to do and we are
supposed to just believe it without question. The problem today is that so many poor souls will believe anything they hear if it makes
them feel good. I am just amazed at the apostasy in our churches today. This is the saddest time of our entire lives!

@babyosisi,

Snakeoil salesmanship or any other appellation may be harsh; but I refute the idea that people who query the duplicity of many so-called ministers are therefore necessarily joining the world to ridicule Christians and preachers.

If any so-called preacher is bringing ridicule to the Gospel and the integrity of the Christian testimony, what should other Christians do? Should we sit passively and pretend these issues are non-existent?

If "ministers" arise in our day and present a counterfeit 'Gospel' of greed, what are believers to do - sit idly and hope that people will not notice?

This is why I sometimes refrain from offering personal opinions and rather challenge others: WHAT should believers do in the face of these very real gangrene in the collective Body of Christ? Since people who are afraid to call a spade for what it is would rather sit back, here's what I offer:

#1.  'Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear' - 1 Tim. 5:20.

#2. Follow the example of trusted servants of Christ -  'For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me' - Act 20:27-34.

#3. All who attempt to make merchandise of Christian believers are to be exposed - 'And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of
. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not' - 2 Pet. 2:2-3.

It is true that God is the Judge of everyman. Yet, when we see people who defame the ministry of God's Word, what should believers do? I'm not one to take the passive position of pretending that we should "just leave them alone" - for that is contrary to the persuasion of Godliness.

Many Christians are quick to sit down and point out the faults and fallacy of Islam and Muhammad; but we are too embarrassed to face the endodermic cancer in Christendom. We as Christians should be responsible enough to deal with issues within the Christian camp as much as we are eager to lambast others outside Christianity.

Lev. 5:1 - 'And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.'

I Cor. 5:12 - 'For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?' (ESV)

"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" - Jude 3.

This may not go down well with many sympathisers of such ministries; but I pray that we all may have the grace to unashamedly and boldly deal with these issues in our faith - only then would it make sense to engage in apologetics with non-Christians.

Shalom.

Thanks for the scriptures but that was not necessary.
What do you accuse Juanita Bynum of?

What are your own issues with her?

She is one of those offering a "gospel" of greed.

This thread is about false prophets and their teachings. If I am one please Expose me I will Repent.

@ BACKSLIDER
Your name tells me that you are one, and i am exposing you. Please repent!! LOL

Seriously though, i pray that GOd will open your eyes. I can see that you are serious about your faith, but it seems to me that you're taking it the wrong way.
"the path of the just is like a shining light, it shines brighter and brighter until the dawning of the perfect day" Prov 4.18
"When you look for me, you will find me. When you wholeheartedly seek me," Jer 29.13

again, may God enlighten you. May He grant you the grace to get down on your knees and seek Him. May he send men across your path who will lead you on to the right path.
You can pray Paul's prayer in Eph 1:17-21
I love you and may God bless you.

I don't suppose you're deliberately pretending you don't know what the Gospel of greed is all about. Let me make it simpler for you:

Acts 20:33 - "I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel."

You tell me if Juanita Bynum's ministry has not contradicted that principle in any way.

You quoted Hank Hanegraaff in one of your post. However to me, he seems to be a person who critisizes every preacher who get any form of popular following. I have never read him say anything good about anybody. But then again i havent read all he has written.

That said, I do disagree with some things some preachers say (here in Nigeria and in the US) but i really cant categorically say they are false prophets. Except the obvious ones like Rev. King. As much as i enjoy Creflo Dollar, I disagree with some things i have heard him say. same with Joyce Meyer. But I wont say they are false prophets. And I dont see anything wrong with a preacher being rich. its the extravagance and popsatr lifestyle that i dont like. the bible teaches moderation.

I very much doubt your statement and summations about Hank Hanegraaff. He critiques most preachers who don't have enough spine to defend their causes in the wake of serious questions with which he challenges them. But there again, he has also commended some other teachers of the Word, even though I may not really agree with some of the things being taught by those other teachers.

It's hard to find a good number of rich pastors and proponents of the W-O-F Prosperity Gospel who don't live in extravagance and popstar lifestyle. One wonders what place the Lordship of Jesus Christ has in their ministries; and what they make of holiness. But there again, I truly believe that God blesses His children according to His riches in glory. The point of reference, however, should not be (and has not been) that materialism takes center stage in the saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I often wonder why people in this dispensation of grace and worship in spirit and truth would articulate, give credence or attempt to deepen their relationship with God through people, things or activity?

Regardless of what anyone thinks about many of these high profile (that of course is relative) people, I know one thing for sure, when one has a taste or a glimpse of God for him/herself, these people will never be more than a distraction at best.

I pray the Father that all will come to the knowledge of the truth. And I absolutely believe that those whose hearts are stayed on Him will do so, regardless of false profits and fake apostles, snake-oil salesmen/women, merchandisers, hustlers and belly-god worshippers, of whom we have been severally warned in the holy scriptures, abound in number and are enemies of the cross of Christ.

God bless

@ Donnie

I have listened to the preachings of this people and I can tell you that they speak lies and i am NEVER afraid of no one nothing but God.

I cannot Judge Them but I can Judge The Spirit They carry by the WORDS THEY PREACH through the very word of GOD they claim to preach.

I say this people are False prophets and they need repentance like any other sinner and Jesus will rejoice when they do so.

I watched Benny with in a doper(one of his close church leaders)

I watch Benny being taught Eschatology by one of his host and it was as if he never read the bible.

I am not careful for this matter but concerned about the young Christians that are carried away by this evil men. As the bible calls them they are TRUE WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHING.

@ALL

We as Christian Should mark them by their life and the word they preach.

There is salvation for this people. and they will get it like any other person.

Let us Look at the author and finisher of our faith Jesus. You will see that he never lived any of the life this people lived. There were Horses and Chariots. but He Rode a Donkey.

Dont Get me Wrong this is not a law but we are to be like him we are to LOVE and DESIRE to be Like him. Some of you outside Nigeria have sat with very rich people on the train to your work place you see how simple they are.

A MAN IS NOT WHAT HE HAS BUT WHO IS AND WHAT HE CAN DO.

Let us assume for a moment that these men are evil and do not deserve the followership they enjoy.

If God were to give you all their members, can you pastor them? Can you carry their burden?

If you see trouble in God's house, it is not a time for you to broadcast it or mock and rejoice over it. This is the Church of Jesus Christ for God's sake! The bible says, Tell it not in Garth! These people need God's light and grace. Go on your knees in mourning and intercession for the church of Christ.

I have been a bit involved in ministry and i can tell you, it is one thing to know what should or should not be done and another to actually do the right thing.

When you know how to weep in God's presence for His church and His ministers out of a pure heart, you will not tear them down that way openly on the internet because your soul would have gone out for them in prayer and your eyes will begin to see only visions (of the revived church of Christ) which you have recieved from the Lord.

The Holy Ghost will tame your tongue. Your speach will become those of praise and thanksgiving to God for the glory which though not yet seen, is sure to come according to what the Lord showed you.

When you become a man of prayer, you talk less. You choose your words because they are powerful and you will have love and blessing to give to the world. Jesus said, I will build my Church. That is His job, Not yours. Do not try to fight darkness, Just put on the light and the darkness will disappear.

While appreciating your persuasion on issues of this sort, I'm afraid that they do not rise to the crux of the gangrene in Christendom (not, the Body of Christ).

A man of prayer is a fighter - his job is to fight darkness: "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them" (Eph. 5:11). Paul was a man of prayer - as well a fighter against darkness. He did not employ carnal weapons or means (2 Cor. 10:4); but he definitely exposed deception, rather than assume the passive role of just praying without action.

Whether on the internet, on the streets, on the pulpits, in magazines and other media, godly people will go beyond mere praying - they will warn others, as Paul did (Acts 20:31 and 1 Thes. 5:14).

We should not cease praying for ALL. However, when people begin to peddle the Gospel for what it was not meant to be, then godly believers should speak up! If we can quote such texts as 'tell it not in Gath' (2 Sam. 1:20); then we should remember also that as watchmen we are mandated to 'blow the trumpet' - but to do so in love. For if we do not sound the alarm, how would others know that they might be warned and to take heed? Please read Ezek 33:3-7.

We should both pray and warn ALL.

My thoughts exactly. I particularly like the distinction b/w Christendom & The Body of Christ.

How unthinking is the notion that we only pray for false teachers  shocked

That is, you don't confront, challenge or expose false teachers/ing. You let them go right ahead and interceed for them out of sight (while their falsehood wrecks the salvation and impairs the communion with God of many  ). Sounds like the kind of deception a false teacher would use. Indeed, anyone who peddles that arrant nonsense is hereby labelled a false teacher  cool!

To expose darkness is the same thing as putting on the light but definitely not the same as fighting darkness. You are the light, just show the light.
To fight darkess is wasted effort without knowledge. Just put on the light and the darkness will disappear! let them see your good works and glorify God. You do the right thing and they will learn. All this hatred you are spitting will not change anything.

You guys talk about yourselves being watchmen. Well, i too am one, even though not of the same kind as you. it is important for you to undersyand that there is order in the house of God. He put those leaders there; you didn't.

There are gifts and there are callings. Be sure that you recieved clear instuctions form the Lord to do what you are doing otherwise, you will be sorry for functioning were you are not called or gifted to function. If you are called to do what you are doing now, the power of God will be with you and there will be results. If you are not, that same power is against you right now.

Do you remember Miriam?

Numbers 12:

1And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

2And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.

3(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)

4And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.

5And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.

6And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

7My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

8With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

9And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.

10And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

Did Moses do right thing by marrying the Ethiopian Woman? I don't know. But was it Miriam's place to speak against the man of God even though she herself was a prophetess? Well, the result of her action can answer that question.
