It is often said that closer you are to something, the harder it is to see the flaws. Sometimes you have to take a big step back in order to see what you’ve always been missing. Here are five of Nigeria’s biggest problems from the point of view of an outsider looking in. And no, the government is not even in the top three:
1) Tribalism

2) Religion

3) Laissez faire attitudes

4) Hypocrisy

5) Bad Leadership

Our problem is attaching sentiments and emotion to everything.
Religion, tribalism , politics are all good things, but when sentiments enters and it becomes bigoted, we have a very big problem.

As for emotion, Nigerians have a problem with separating Good from Right.

OP just nailed it, taking a good look at people's comment here on Nairaland you can easily tell that 70 percent of our problem is we ourselves and just 30 percent is the government, people will see the truth but due to tribalism, religion or what they will gain will call white black.
