malvisguy212:atheists can believe in existence of spirits. The real problem is the defination of God. What is God? By conventional definition, what god means is the problem atheists have. Immediately you say you believe in God, what comes to your mind? A being, an intelligent being, talks and all... there could be creational forces there could be spirits and what have you, but philosophically we fault in interpretation of definitions. I dont believe in the supernatural. I believe everything is natural. I dont believe in an intelligent being that has moral standards for humans. But could there be a creative force of forces? Absolutely. But over time god has a definition that fits a mould of intelligence and precise human like attributes. That is what atheists dont agree with. So we dont believe in god because we both know what god is defined as. Some atheist believe in metaphysical not because they are confused, but because that is how they categorise and define their life observations which does not mean they are right. |
