expatriates will be rejoicing with this bill by reps. surely gifts will start flowing from foreign firms handling the project to legislators. at reception of this news
In addition, if Africans didn't develop Africa by themselves no foreigner will.

instead of going for a project that will make impact on unemployed graduates and youth, they prefer to throw it out to strangers. bunch of thieves.
Its pathetic the youth will still be supporting this ills on social media.

If you know the procedure of releasing that looted money then you won't say this......you must use it for what it is released for before they can even think of releasing the rest. World bank is monitoring it and how it will be distributed.

Yeah I know they said to be used to better the lot of those it was stolen from and sharing it is the least sensible way of spending it. Investing it in projects that would accrue to better the lives of Nigerians is a surer way to pull people out of poverty. Ajaokuta is one such project and I'm sure the Swiss wouldn't object

Though another thing is if the crooks in NASS and Aso Rock will allow it's judicious application

the fact that we have a professor as VP and this government can only think of sharing money to the poor without any prior biometric data to support that line of thinking is worrisome. nothing innovative coming from this government on recovered loot is just a shame.

Abacha was the biggest thief Nigeria had yet the President said he didnt steal. If you can offer to return 1.2 billion USD...try converting this to Naira, i bet you that your calculator cannot contain the zeroes

Summary: Chances are fleeting that President Obasanjo will see USD 1.2 billion in stolen Abacha loot. Under pressure from Northern political leaders, Obasanjo released late military leader Sani Abacha's son Mohammed from prison September 24. With Mohammed's release, Obasanjo
surrendered his best leverage over the Abacha family. Obasanjo, who hoped for both political and federal budgetary benefits from the purported "Mohammed's release for USD 1.2 billion" exchange, may now end up empty-handed. With Mohammed's release, the Abachas will likely use some of the purloined funds to finance Obasanjo's political enemies. This would be akin to an insurance policy against Obasanjo's recouping the entire USD 1.2 billion. If Obasanjo is defeated in his reelection bid, the Abachas can be fairly certain that the election victors will not pursue them, and definitely not with the alacrity of Obasanjo. End Summary.

Build 6 world class hospitals in the 6 geo-political zones (1 each), and name them Swiss Hospital, Abacha Loot Hospital (PMB will never allow this), Recovered Loot Hospital, etc.

These are projects that can be started and completed to finish and verified,
