A deputy commissioner of police, Abba Kyari, has responded to one Anthony who said the Nigerian Police collect money from armed robbers and release them. In a post made via his social media account, the crime buster replied that they don't need to expose the robbers to the public in order to quietly negotiate there release, that's if the police are guilty of the accusation.

WHO SAID NIGERIAN POLICE COLLECT MONEY AND RELEASE ROBBERS :

Anthony, We have Never Released an Armed robber and we would never do So. If we are the type of Police that will collect money and release Armed robbers, we don’t need to expose the Armed Robbers to the public, We would Quietly Negotiate to Collect the Money and release them and nobody will know. Do you know the time, Energy and Resources Spent to achieve This? Did u ask whether Government of Nigeria in the past 30yrs have been providing the needed Logistic for the police to do their Work properly?

Did u ask whether some policemen have option of Going to drink and enjoy themselves without Risking their lives because no necessary Logistics on ground for them to work but rather they decided to go extra length and make Personal Sacrifices to make the Society Safe.

Did you ask How much is the Nigeria Police Salary? Did you ask How much is Allocated to the Nigeria Police in our Budgets in the last 30yrs and How much is actually reaching the Police? Just like Any Organization in this Country, The Nigeria Police with over 300,000 Personnel also have The Good, The Bad and The Ugly among them.

We are also working Very hard to Remove the bad eggs among us hence it’s not fair for Somebody to Paint the whole Police Black because of the misdeeds of Few.
