Akpu is a lovely swallow eaten in the Southern part of Nigeria. It is made of fermented cassava. For its preparation, some people prepare it neatly, thereby making it having almost no bad smell at all, while others make theirs in a smelly way. However, it has the most lovely moisture content than all swallows, but has a disadvantage with its smell.

Some people prepare it in such a way that it almost does not smell. that is the best!!

You can eat akpu with any beautiful soup of your choice
