That is not impunity. They have banned all civilian flight to the airport. My guess is they are using the airport for flights to provide security patrol for Benue. Makurdi is not far from Abuja, they should go by road if they want to go to Makurdi.

You see, when you don't think before writing, this is what happens.
The destination airport (Makurdi Airport) is military. The fact they need permission from a military personnel should have informed you it is not a normal airport.
So a country as big as Nigeria don't have military airport? Where do jets used against BH flying from? Normal airport?

Took the word right out of my mouth. Makurdi airport is a military airport ....an Airforce Base. No one flies in and out of an Airbase without security clearance. They should stop all these politics abegi! Least they could have done is fly to Enugu and from their drive down to Makurdi which is less than 3 hours away.

Why fly at all? Why not just drive from Abuja to Makurdi directly?
