Cristiano Ronaldo was officially unveiled as a Juventus player in front of Italian press on Monday.

The 33-year-old year old, who joined from Real Madrid, will now face the challenge and test himself in Italy.

After scoring over 450 goals for Real, Ronaldo will be hoping to flow again in Turin.

Speaking at his press conference yesterday, why he joined Juventus? he said:

“I want to win. I want to be the best.

“Who knows, maybe I will be awarded the Ballon d'Or again but things will happen naturally.

"It was difficult to win it in Manchester and Real Madrid, but maybe here? We will see."

When will Ronaldo make his Juventus debut?

Ronaldo is expected to travel with his teammates on their pre-season tour of the United States.

He will play in the inaugural International Champions Cup which will also feature the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.

Juventus will play three matches but it is unclear which one Ronaldo will make his debut in. Juve also play Benfica on July 28.

Matches will be soon exclusively on Sky Sports.


Could his debut come against Real Madrid?

After his contributions at the World Cup, Ronaldo will be given time off.

Juventus take on Bayern in Miami on July 26 in their first game which may come around too soon for him.

However, it is likely he will face his former employers Real on August 4 in Washington DC (11.05pm BST).
