While many agreed that the Igbos are number one when it comes to economics, trade and commerce in Nigeria, some Nigerian leaders who also share this view will however tell you Igbos can NEVER rule Nigeria.

That statement is fast becoming reality. 19 years of uninterrupted democracy, yet no Igbo man has been considered fit to rule the country despite their significant contribution to the emergence of the winner in any election.

Now, they promised 2019, but i can tell you it is all lies because the presidency will be zoned to the South-West again.

Why are they afraid of Igbo Presidency?

Because the up north parasites are scared of loosing free monthly allocation derived from the crude oil from the SS while the political sophisticated regions is scared of SE oppression & SE dominance if they share region with others in the South, that's why they prefer licking the northern ass to still remain relevance.

It's not just the elites, it's basically 80% of non igbos that are uneasy and can't vet for the Igbo man being the president.
Reason - about 80% of igbos believe that they have been and are being victimised, it is outrightly evident here on NL, the perspective is that the Igbo man has seething vendetta not just personal but even social, also there's the stem of the Igbo man belief in Biafra. How can you seed power to someone that doesn't want the country as it is?

Some illiterate no igbos actually believe that if the Igbo man becomes president, he WOULD starve all other regions in a catch up bid pre Biafra war, non igbos hear, see and live with igbos who unguarded lyrics spill their pre emotive vendetta and hate as perceived largely.

Something has to change fantastically for the Igbo man to have the confidence and trust required from the non Igbo electorate to win the Nigerian presidency in a free and fair election.

On the other hand, the zoning thing can turn things around for the Igbo man favourably , but the cavaet is the Igbo man president be very nationalistic in his leadership, as every move he makes would be scrutinized for traits of vendetta and tribal bigotry.

Also the most likely time for Biafra to be realised would be under an Igbo president. The realisation of Biafra even if not supported by the Igbo president in anyway would lead to another civil war.

Those are the odds of an Igbo presidency.

P.S it could be better though, if we all accept this political entity, shedding discordant rhetorics, and eschewing tribal and religious bigotry also discarding personal and social vendetta against other tribes that make up Nigeria.

God bless Nigeria.

Those saying that Igbos should learn from other ethnic group to play good politics.

1. Obasanjo was picked from prison to compensate Yorubas for 1993 Abiola saga.

2. Yaradua came as a result of Northern turn and Obasanjo picked Goodluck as his deputy to down Niger Delta struggle.

3. Buhari came by fire by force through Northern agitation that felt short changed by the death of Yaradua and the coming of GEJ by using Boko haram and all form of violence.

Now which card have other ethnic group played to earn the presidency .

I tire o, the question should be why are Igbos afraid to contest for the Presidency.?

First Igbos just don't know what they want, they don't have the Political brain, the are not united.

You want the presidency, but you are not strategic, all you do is play tribalism and bigotry.

You want the presidency, but you can not and won't reach out to to other regions or form needed alliances to get you to Aso Rock.

You want the presidency, but you don't have serious, capable and credible leaders to present to Nigerians for consideration.

You want the presidency, but the party you follow around like mumu care less about any ibo presidency or your region and our social and infrastructural needs.

Presidency is not something you get on a platter of gold, you have to work for it and since we all have to team up with other regions and parties to secure enough votes, you have to form alliances with the North and the SW, but you people are too tribalistic, bitter, angry, hateful and bigoted to do the right thing.

I will give you some historical references. To get Obasanjo as a Yoruba president, There have been many prominent Yorubas who contested before Obasanjo, e.g Awolowo in 1979, Falae in 1992 Abiola in 1993 when Yorubas insistent has become loud enough Obasanjo was voted in and he allied with many people of other tribes

To get Jonathan presidency there have been many agitation by the SS, Towards 2007 election, Almost all the SS governors came out for president Odili, Ibori, Igbnedion Attah and especially Duke. With his agitation Yar Adua had to pick a Jonathan who ended up being president

Before Buhari in 2015, He has contested for presidency 3 times earlier and lost after which he learned and realigned made some concession, carried people like Tinubu along and won the presidency

In the past 30yrs how many Ibo people have seriously contested for presidency. In 1992 who were the serious Ibo candidates, In 1993 In 1999, In 2003, 2007, 2011 2015 who are the serious candidates from the SE. Towards 2019 which popular SE candidates is coming out for presidency, we are hearing Buhari, Atiku Saraki Dankwanbo Duke how many people from SE have associated with any popular party and made consultations to be president

By Januray 2019 you will now start asking why is there no Ibo president

Which platform has the SE invested in to become their own push for president. Is it PDP, PPA, APGA or which one?

I really don't think they are interested in any kind of political investments, they think they are entitled to it and it should be handed over to them. They have a sad case of flawed sense of entitlement.

APC is largely a product of outreach, grand bargaining and strong regional alliances, not a product of sidon look and give it to me because I'm entitled to it.

Presidency in Nigeria is giving and not based on how many time each tribe have contested. Lets us tell ourselves the truth.

Buhari become presidents base on the fact that north made Nigeria ungovernable based on what they promised if GEJ become president not any alliance, the north have even tell Yorubas that without them that Buhari would have won that election.

Obasanjo was picked from prison just to keep Nigeria one and Yoruba through NEDECO is causing nuisance in Lagos the Nigeria economic capital.

Niger Delta deputy to Yaradua came as a result of Niger Delta militancy and destruction of Nigeria oil facilities.

Igbos don't want to become violent so as to become president as other regions has done.
