GOVERNOR UDOM EMMANUEL ENJOYS MASSIVE SUPPORT & ENDORSEMENT FROM IKOT EKPUK IN ORUK ANAM

The International Coordinator of Divine Ibom Movement (DIV) and the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Education Monitoring, Mrs Idongesit Etiebet once again took the Campaign to her community, Ikot Ekpuk, the home town of Donald Etiebet.

Mrs Etiebet in her community enjoys massive goodwill by her people, Hon. Elder Ubong Ukpong, the village head of Ikot Ibritam who spoke excitedly about their have this to say. "If Mrs Etiebet is this magnanimous in giving the little God bless her with almost every quarter of the year, what will she do if she is given another opportunity to serve in 2nd term? We will continue to support and give our mandate to His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel till 2023 for finding our daughter worthy of that office."

Also speaking was the village head of Ikot Ekpuk, Chief Pastor Sabbath Etiebet. He maintained that as far as Udom Emmanuel is their son in-law, they can not afford to do otherwise because he has perform creditably well. "The second term ambition of our son in-law, Governor Udom Emmanuel can not be compromise or mortgage by empty promises, that is why we in Ikot Ekpuk Ward 1 will stand with him to complete his 2nd term. If we will not have the cause to support him, we will do so because of our daughter, Mrs Idongesit Etiebet whom he has graciously appointed to serve his government. We have benefited from this government through his appointee, our daughter. This is why we must vote Udom in 2019."

Mrs Etiebet while addressing the people expressed joy and satisfaction for the massive support she has always been enjoying from her people in Oruk Anam especially that of Ikot Ekpuk and Ikot Ibritam that make up Ward 1. "Governor Udom is a good leader who understands his people. He has done so much for state in just three years. Oruk Anam under this administration has had its fair share and as such we need to vote him into office in 2019. I'm using this opportunity to call on all well meaning individuals in the state be it in government to always reach out to those in grassroots by way of giving whatever support they can. Government in itself cannot touch everyone but it is possible if they can choose a day and drive home. You cannot remain in Uyo and claim to be a leader while your people are looking for a shoulder to lean on. It is time for everyone to go to their various units and canvas votes for Governor Udom Emmanuel. The reason why God put us there is for us to give back to the society from time to time." -Mrs Etiebet.

High point of the event was the distribution of some gifts, drinks and cash envelopes to ease the transportation fare to everyone that attended the rally. God the SSA on Education Monitoring.
