some people are still banking on that scriptures that says. . . "be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. . ."

Fam. The Earth is already filled up sad
the wahala going on in the North in the name of Almajiri is just too much.

Dont give birth to kids you can't carter for. There's a likely chance you might go to Hell because of negligence!
our god severely warned men and women to desist fornication thats why 4 wives is granted but the difference is that other than islam they are given birth to atleast having 96 percent illegitimate children so they dnt care abt god forbiden fornication, all of them with the exception of very few follows god's warning all they thought is that because of dancing and singing they would get a direct ticket to heaven beside all their sins was washed by the blood of jesus since before they were born so a fornication to them is almost permissable but islam had no one who got beaten so his blood is shade to justify the great sin and some non muslims knows god forbid it they cant help because they are guyz, educated guyz following americans that even fvck their mothers.for us to suffer in hell we rather gave birth to almajiri though they disturb us but to dwell in hell forever is never a good choice so alternative is the answer.

Nigeria in fact needs to work hard to increase its population because the country is grossly underpopulated. There is such a thing as Population Carrying capacity and as long as it is not breached, population can continue to increase.

If PCC is reached, the system will autocorrect itself.

Nigerians, you are not breeding fast enough!

The whites that are wealthier still control their penis and birth rates.
US presidents however rich, still manage their births.
BLACKS create and recycle poverty.
That’s why poverty is ENDEMIC and will remain a pandemonium in our midst.
I learnt that by 2050, our population will surpass that of the US and we think that’s an achievement.

Just imagine our current POPULATION, meanwhile CALIFORNIA a state in the US, is two third of the entire Nigeria
Meanwhile our population is almost 180 million, Lagos is almost 18million if not more than where as, that of the entire US is 325million, yet they grant GREEN CARDS to people across the world.
That’s a planned society.

The govt of Nigeria is toying with the future. Population explosion will be one major challenge - if legislation to check/control birth rate is not introduced soonest.

Unskilled population is growing in the poorest parts of the country, fuelled by unchecked emigration from Niger and Chad.
only that the said well to do educated region of naija has a ungodly way of life in the name of educated u fvck ur mother and bkos she is also educated she dnt see any raise of concern its normal, but the said poor uneducated region's god forbid them fornication instead he gave an alternative that they have no reason to fornicate by allowing having 4 wives beside the educated region of naija says their god has got beaten by a human and his shedded blood washed their commitable sin so they dnt have any fear of rampant fornication thats d difference thats why d said poor region choose to give birth to many almajiri for them to get paradise instead of hell

Use you common sense now.

Assuming u earn 500K with 2 children

and now
u earn same 500K with 6 children

Divide that.

Its the same on national level

Nigeria earnings from its resources divided by the population = not very much

Population isn't the problem

Singapore doubled it's population and still doing well.

India had 500 million people about 40 years ago and experienced famine.

Today with over 1 billion people, India is exporting food and has good economy.

What about the US?
325 million in population but throwing away food etc and is arguably the most powerful nation of the world

Population is definitely part of the problem. If people refuse to plan their families then they cannot expect the government to be able to plan for them.

Go to the north and see wonders.

That's why I don't pity them.

A 60 something yrs old man is still getting married after 3 or 4 wives. The rate of divorce there is so alarming. And as they divorce, they remarry immediately.

Nigeria's poverty and illrates are mostly from the north! If you people want to keep producing without control, pls keep your babiala adults/children in your place! They continue nuisances here in the south!

While you are at it, try and development resources and stop being parasites.

And who told you all those countries did not plan their population? Every country plans based on where they are, where they want to be at a certain time and the resources currently available to them. None of those countries you mentioned would be able to improve their economy if they did not have processes in place to manage their population growth. You even forgot to mention China sef. People love to talk about the Chinese economic miracle. The second biggest economy in the world and on the way to becoming the biggest. They have 1.4 billion population but their economic turnaround was preceded by a long period of a strictly enforced one child only policy. If Nigeria enforces a strict two children per woman policy today, I promise you in twenty years you won't recognise this country again.

I agree with you, Population isn't the problem. When we look at the numbers, Africa is underpopulated. We have 20% of the world's landmass and 13% of its population.”

Nigeria population quadrupled in less than 40 years
That's not a good sign at all.

Not every country can have a big economy like the U.S and Singapore to care for a large population. In the case of Nigeria we don't have a big economy and the government doesn't perform well enough to grow our economy. The wise thing to do is to reduce our population growth if we can't grow our economy. Are you suggesting we should keep procreating recklessly with a bad economy?

You mentioned about India. Do you how many millions in India are living in abject poverty?

No Nigeria is not overpopulated, far from it. We have to look at the population density of Nigeria, ( people per square mile ). The population density of Europe is higher than in Nigeria, (more people per square mile than Nigeria), so in fact Europe is overpopulated and Europeans are not complaining about it. We have to create more jobs for the youngs and build more skyscrapers in Nigerian cities.

Overpopulation is not entirely about population density. It is also about the available resources being enough to care for the existing population. If Europe has a high population density but their resources sustains the population then they are not actually overpopulated.
