President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that a new template for revenue remittances into the Federation Account be generated. The objective is to stop future embarrassment arising from remittances into the account at meetings of the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC). The new template is to be jointly agreed upon by the Ministry of Finance, Office of the Accountant- General of the Federation, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
