Organisers of the annual African Virtuous Women Awards have revealed that the 2018 edition of the event will hold at the Women Development Centre, Abuja, on September 1, 2018.

This would be the first time that the city of Abuja will host the awards.

The Organizers in a statement said, “the 2018 African Virtuous Women Awards will be held in the city of Abuja, Nigeria and the new African Agent of Change, the African Women of the Year and 15 winners in other categories will be unveiled during the Gala night.”

Other categories include African Prize of Excellence in Leadership, Lawmaker of The Year and Entrepreneur of The Year.
