stop exposing your naivety in public. The senate president cannot be removed by a vote of no confidence. What about the IGP that teh senate passed a vote of no confidence on did it stop him from continuing in ofice.Saraki,Ekweremadu and Dogara will remain in office until June 2019.That is a political fact.

He is just leaving BMC training school and eager to show off

They don't have the numbers, waste of time and money.

Look at how Saraki continues to play them.

By September 25, Saraki would be president and Ekweremandu his vice and Buhari would be impeached or placed under house arrest.
saraki is the Frank Underwood of Nigeria

The only court order not carried out by government is the Dasuki bail order. As stated by Festus Keyamo, the supreme court justices have stated that national security supercedes human rights of any individual. The government declined the order based on national security concerns. Saraki on the other hand adjourned plenary for selfish reasons. The court can reverse his order based on urgent national interest. By his action, Saraki is seeking to undermine the coming election with consequent implications for national security. The court can intervene to save democracy from being truncated by Saraki doe selfish reasons.
You are acting as the judge here now. The FG flaunt Dasuki bail for national interest, and Saraki adjourned plenary for selfish interest. Just listen to yourself. Both did same thing for selfish interest not national okay? When will Nigerians stop being spokemen for these thieves?
The FG wants to bite but don't want to be bitten. The APC led government is acting as if Nigeria is not a Democratic nation. Why the forceful and tyrant attitude. For Christ sake there are due process why not follow due process? Had PDP(thieves also) practiced this same system of government APC would not have seen the light of the day.
What sort of government is this?once you work against them they intimidate you. Either with security agencies, EFCC, or impeachment. This is totally unacceptable the desperation of the APC led Federal government is becoming something else.

Even in the political section you still argue aimlessly. The economic growth, institutional establishment, recorded under the OBJ/ Atiku can never be compared to the nonsense that is obtained under this APC failed administration of aimless propaganda .

A total of 7.956 million Nigerians became unemployed between January 2016 and September 30, 2017, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

This is the first government since 1999 that has never reported job gains, only job losses in millions.

Under this government and it's FAILED policies aimed at emproverishing Nigerians, Nigeria was few weeks ago declared as the poverty capital of the world(country with the highest number of of its people living in abject poverty ). Something that never was under the OBJ/ Atiku administration.

Security wise this government has FAILED totally.

This government has nothing to offer Nigerians. An Atiku presidency can NEVER BE as bad as it is now. Nigeria is at its worst moment ever as a country especially on the economic and security front.

What has Buhari done to help ordinary Nigerians like you? List 5 things he has done to empower or better your life as an ordinary citizen. When time for employment came he made sure only the children of the rich and powerful got Jobs into all the juicy government establishments through the back door, while ordinary citizens like you were left in the cold to fend for themselves.

Keep clapping for nothing because that is the only thing you seem to be good at.

Please what is Buhari seeking for election for now?

Is it to fix electricity ?

Is it to create jobs?

Is it to fix roads?

Is it to fight corruption?

Is it to reduce the prices of goods ?

Is it to stop the payment of Fuel Subsidy ?

Is it to make petrol 40 Naira a litre?

Is it to make one Naira equals to one dollar?

Is it to improve security ?

Zombies please what promises will Buhari be campaigning with?
You didn't include paying widows 5k every month;maybe that's what he wants to come back for 2nd term to do.

You are right.

The Executive won't dare such a thing. But if they go ahead with this, then they will be digging their own graves.

Saraki and his cohorts are playing nigerians --where in the world does the senate (our useless senate included) go on recess for almost 2 months on full pay.

this guy is holding the country to ransom for his own selfish agenda.

lazy useless buffons..someone needs to call these crooks to order.
Thanks for speaking my mind. I have been wondering why the senate will shutdown. What exactly are they fighting for? Can Saraki at least let the public know the reason for this emergency recess?
If I’m not mistaken Senate shutdown invariably means Government shutdown, because the senate is needed for the Government to function as expected.

To believe this story, you need to convince yourself at a deep level that this is possible.
This is my problem. (I) It takes a lot of ignorance and modest IQ to believe senators will raise the numbers and even northern senators in the PDP will join the moves, (Ii) not to know that impeachment of President is a very long process with many steps is also a sign of intellectual laziness (iii) because it is mostly long and rancorous, impeachment proceedings will take out the Senate for a long time. They will actually close it down and Nigeria will be a dictatorship.

I think guys need to brush up on things and stop showing Nairaland as a place where amateurs just post rubbish..
Impeachment is NOT a political process. It is aTRIAL of the head of the executive for a series of OFFENCES that are impeachable or due to mental illness where the Presidents appointed ministers actually have to say the "man is mad".
Even corruption and abuse of powers may eventually not be impeachable in practice.
It was impossible to impeach GEJ a minority tribe President because it would not even be true and fair. No Nigerian President including this one has actually ever committed impeachable offences. You need to know what impeachable offences are.

If you want to discuss politics do so with ,maturity. It is not kid stuff.

People want to exercise powers they donot possess.
Even if they take the matter to court, they may decide to reconvene and yet don't treat whatever issue the Executive may see as urgent. Not even the courts can decide the order in which the activities of the NASS is conducted. QED
