Buhari's successful bid to emerge as ECOWAS chairman holds no single benefit to Nigeria or the union at large but is geared towards ensuring unhindered movement of Fulanis across the sub region. Buhari will get some support for this as he will use Nigeria's oil and sovereign wealth to bribe some West African leaders to accept in principle their diabolical cattle colony argument as a precursor to stemming the ever growing Fulani herdsmen menace.
