The leader of the TakeItback movement and Presidential aspirant Omoyele Sowore, who is in South Africa to continue his engagement about his Presidential ambition with Nigerians in the southern Africa country has had his scheduled interview with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) Cancelled.

The reason according to Sowore media team is as a result of the Presidential aspirant earlier interview on eTV, where he called Nigeria a big brother to South Africa.

FULL DETAILS

” Our interview with SABC this afternoon has been cancelled as a result of my pronouncement on eTV earlier today stating that Nigeria is South Africa’s older brother and our citizens should be treated with respect.

I am not surprised that the management of these media houses took umbrage – it’s not like the South African govt make it their duty to remind their people that the Nigerian govt bankrolled Mandela’s ANC back in the 70s and 80s.

Our universities were full of South African students being sponsored by the Nigerian govt. We played a very significant role in bringing about the end of apartheid.

The South Africans have repaid our generosity with bloodshed and xenophobia; their government almost turning a blind eye to the incessant killings of Nigerians in South Africa.

Once again, let me reiterate: the #TakeItBack Movement and the subsequent government will NOT tolerate the flagrant waste of Nigerian life – whether at home or abroad.

So the South African media houses may pull shows and may try to change the narrative, but please note that the message remains the same – the hurricane is coming and it will demand justice.”

Sowore you are the son of your father, say it as it is. The South African government purposely turned blind eyes to the killings of Nigerians for whatever reasons. If Nigerians collectively boycott South African products their government will sit up and do something but the lazy youth seems can't do without big brother on South African cable.

Truth is always bitter. There is nothing they can do about it. If they think otherwise, let them return all the kind gestures we showed them and we will submit to them.

How can a slum and shithole like Nigeria be a big brother to a developed country like South Africa?

Even Big Brother Nigeria is held in South Africa, what more can I say?

Did he say that because if he did not you are the lie monger.
He was quoted as saying there should be one (Unicameral) legislature with the Senate taking the chop.

How is that the same as your claim that he said he will remove the legislative arm of government?

That clearly is A LIE

We remember very little in this country bro.

DSTV and MTN keep complaining about operating costs but whatever happened to shutting down and going elsewhere? They can't try it.
