242 billion is very expensive to fund an election process that will probably not reflect the will of the people

That aside everyone knew in 2015 that Nigeria will conduct election in 2019

Why do we need a virement to fund 2019 elections? Why was this not planned and costed for from day one when the budget was created?

The election is not an event , it is part of our democratic process

This election funding should have been funded in the 2018 budget from day 1.

This is poor planning from the executive

It is also worrying that Nigeria can find 242billion from an already approved budget to fund something new.

It seems to me the budget is bloated in the first place and then it brings the question why the anti corruption crusader signed such a bloated budget in the first place!

The cost of this election should be slashed to 120 billion. The last one was 90 billion.
