'' A true democracy is a democracy where women do not only have the right to elect and vote, but also to be elected. '' A true democracy can never be achieved without an active involvement of women in politics. Women are intelligent, stronger, charismatic and vibrant in terms of politics.

Women have the potential to lead than the men. Women are endowed with formidable skill and integrity. It’s high time we tried the initiative of our women. The men have failed us abysmally. The men have exhausted all the ideas they have, what did we gain? Except corruption, unemployment, kidnapping, terrorism, arm robbing, suffering, etc. This is the right time to say yes to female president in 2019 general presidential election.

So many countries in the world have started removing barriers that limit women from actively participating in governance and Nigeria cannot be left behind. It is high time women be bailed from quanqmire of exclusion from governance and politics. Women's political participation is essential to the growth of democracy. We have hope in the capabilities of our women. They can never fail like their male counterparts. We believe in the potentialities of our women to move this nation forward. Nigeria needs female president and leaders. More women in governance less corruption.



The implication of the previous was that, women were relegated to only spectator-ship roles in the Nigerian's political arena. It is believed that women can only role for men; they cannot be voted or elected. This is rubbish. Windows of political opportunities should be opened for women so that more women will come. Politics as a block of people who are determined to takeover leadership because they constitute the most significant proportion of the Nigeria population. Gone are the days, when the men use our women before, during and after elections and dumped them after ascending to the position of power and influence. 

Political space should be opened for our women. Political parties must begin to readjust their constitutions to deliberately pave way for more women to pick tickets for presidency, governorship, state and national assemblies’ on their platform. Non- complaint parties will bear the consequences.
