The Minority Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Gombe State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Haruna, has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Fada, as he was popularly called, announced his defection yesterday during the house plenary presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Nasiru Abubakar Nono. He said he left the APC because of the existing division in the state chapter of the party and the injustice meted on him by the party leadership.
