President Muhammadu Buhari has this Monday afternoon, departed FCT Abuja to celebrate this year's Eid-el Kabir with his kinsmen in his home town.

According to a disclosure by Bashir Ahmad, the presidential adviser on new media, President Muhammadu Buhari is billed to celebrate this year’s Eid-el Kabir with his kinsmen in his home town, Daura, Katsina State on Tuesday.


Bashir revealed in a tweet on social media that the President on Monday, left Abuja for the purpose, adding that his convoy left the forecourt of the Presidential Villa, Abuja for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at about 3.06pm.


The president left the federal capital, Abuja, shortly after meeting with the nation’s security chiefs during which he directed them to step up their game in order to make the country safer.


Some top government officials including his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari; the National Security Officer, Babagana Monguno; and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, saw Buhari off as he left for his hometown.


The President is expected back in Abuja after the Sallah break.

This guy is the real definition of INEFFECTIVENESS. After spending 15 days on tourism he couldn't sacrifice 2 days for the betterment of Nigeria.
