The attention of Chief Felix Chidi IdIga (JAFAC), the National Chairman, Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria (GOGAN) has been drawn to a purported publication on the Social Media (facebook precisely) attributed to a certain social media aide of the Imo state Governor Rochas Okorocha.

The said publication which featured a picture of the Amaifeke born business mogul and philanthropist in a meeting with the President and Commander of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari falsely ascribed wordings to Mr. President and Chief Idiga alleging an order from President Buhari to Idiga to go and deliver Mr. Uche Nwosu as the governor for Imo state in 2019.

In a period of tensed political environment as evident today in the country and with Mr. President working very hard to ensuring free and fair elections where so much mistrusts and suspicions abound, Chief FeliX Idiga considers such falsification a grave crime that must not be treated with a kid’s glove and had therefore requested an investigation by relevant security agencies.

While this is not aimed at joining issues with anyone, especially a freelance whose main occupation is tarnishing images of hard working Nigerians and Imolites for crumbs, suffice to inform ndimo and the general public that Chief Idiga (JAFAC) had never discussed anything concerning Imo Governorship with Mr. President and Mr. President on the other hand had never directed or ordered Chief Idiga or anyone to deliver Mr. Uche Nwosu or any particular aspirant in Imo state. The choice of who emerges Imo governor lies with the people of Imo state.

Let it also be reiterated that Chief Felix Idiga as the chairman of GOGAN and an ambassador of good governance in Nigeria is currently preoccupied with ensuring adequate mobilization for Mr. President's continuation in 2019. To achieve this, Idiga advises social media aides, critics and the general public to use the few remaining days left by INEC to go get their PVCs as elections are not won on the internet.
