There is an ongoing mass defection from PDP to APC in Ughelli south, Delta state.

PDP today lost its members to APC in Ughelli South Ward 6 as Prince Efe Duku commenced his ward to ward consultations in the Local Government.

Some PDP youth leaders and elders openly decamped to APC to identify and work with Prince Duku whom they described as principled, courageous, honest and positively different in many ways. The new APC members pledged to work for Chief Great Ogboru, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Prince Duku to be victorious in the 2019 general elections as the next governor of Delta State, Senator representing Delta Central and House of Assembly member representing Ughelli South respectively.

It was a joyous moment as Duku encouraged his party leaders and members to embrace the new comers with open hearts and grant them their
privileges under the party’s constitution.

Also, our Campaign Steering Committee and supporters were in Olomu and Ekakpamre Wards where Duku made his compelling case of the “GREAT VISION” for a “NEW DELTA” using Ughelli South as an example of developmental impacts that are possible and achievable. Each time Duku spoke, the crowd were held spell-bound by the power, truth, conviction and flawless delivery of his message in both Urhobo and English languages.

We are wholly grateful to God who strengthens and refreshes our Campaign in so many amazing ways. We concluded our consultations today with a visit to Mr. Jimmy Omo-Agege at his aesthetically rich and beautiful Orhomuru-Orogun country home. We were lavishly entertained by our host who was effusive in his declaration that “Efe’s race is a special one and he deserves our full support” even as he prayed for God to help us finish well to His glory.

We are grateful to Jimmy Omo-Agege for his open display of brotherly love.

We reaffirm that Prince Duku’s electoral race is like no other in its category. It is supported from everywhere and we thank God for our continuing and steady successes.
