No date attached to this news?
If the report says Thursday attack, i want to believe it must be last Thursday. Buratai is not going to tell Nigeria the truth as long as the young soldiers are dying and all their entitlement will not get to them, their death should not mean anything to him.

why am I having the feeling that buhari is directly involve in this political war?

just look at the scenario of dapchi girls play stage, fight against bokoharam is a fight against the north, to forgiving terrorist that have killed thousands of people, to giving them huge amount of money that could have transformed Nigeria power or ICT invention

one day people behind this nonsense would be a subject to their victims one day. it would be very foolish for any southerners to join NA at a present in this political gratification of these northerners

In the name of God we all believe in, Al-barnawi, spear innocent Nigerians that are paying a price of what they did nit buy. I know your father is happy in heaven to have made proud and resting in peace now. I'm very very sure he is now saying my son, i have forgiven them, so you should also forgive them because you are killing those that never had hand in his death. The spirit of your father is begging you to sheathe you sword and believe Nigeria again by have dialogue with the president for peace. I thank you because i know you will read this, that is if you the important people of Nigeria read what the ordinary Nigerians write, while i await to hear and read the peaceful accord. Nigerian like you.

What is Bubu good for if as a former soldier he cannot use his military training to exterminate this menace called boko haram.
It is for this singular purpose that Nigerians allowed him near Aso rock, now since it has become glaring that he is incapable of dealing with the problem he should just quietly respect himself and quit.

There is nothing else whatsoever he can offer Nigeria if as a General in the army he cannot ensure security of lives and property better than the former purely civilian administration. Report has it that there has been much more killings in the last three years compared to the past. Therefore, it will be suicidal to imagine these bunch continue beyond 2019.

Hmmmmm. The link between South East and Boko Haram..

Boko Haram insurgents in camouflage military uniform attacked a Nigerian Army camp in Borno State on Thursday, killing at least one officer and 30 soldiers while two officers and 17 soldiers were seriously wounded.

Abuja – Mr Joseph Attah, the Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), said the Service seized a container load of military uniforms and other items on Friday along Aba- Port Harcourt road. 440 pump action riffles intercepted by Customs Attah, who said this in a statement on Friday in Abuja, noted that examination of the container was conducted in the presence of the owner’s representative.

The roving team of the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone C, have seized a container with registration number MRSU 3040288 found to carry military uniforms and other items along Aba- Port Harcourt road. ” The container was taken to owerri where proper examination in the presence of the representative of the owner revealed the followings, 11 bales containing new sets of sawn military camouflage. ” Each bale contain 400 pairs of sawn military camouflage, 15 cartons containing Altama combat boots each carton contains 20 pairs and some sacks of made up garments. ” Seven Wooden furniture kitchen cabinets, 337 packs of new foreign tiles made in China, 27 medical equipment made in China, 34 rolls of water hose made in China and some household items,” Attah said. According to him, the Comptroller in charge of FOU, Zone C, Ahmed Azarema, said the owner’s representative had been detained. Attah said investigation to unravel all those connected to the crime had already commenced. (NAN)

Where is it difficult to find the root cause of this evil and put an end to it.

Its business, who cares what happens to human resources.
Its the money that matters.
Do you know how much is stolen from the "Aid money " that is given to Nigeria.

Its just business .

the truth is that: the insurgency in the northeast will keep on waxing stronger as far as the people there are sympathetic to their cause.
are u telling me that the people there don't see them in their various neighbourhood as to tip-off the security?
this can't happen in the east.
i pity the innocent soldiers.
...you haven't been to the far northeast...this is somewhere close to Tchad and Niger... Very large expanse of land with little or no control... The route is easily plyed between the countries... There are active al-qaeda, Isis elements in Niger which made US to locate there African base in Niger... We are talking of thousand of square kilometres of empty land with little or no administration... Many of the fighters come from Niger, that's why the multi national joint force was necessary.... Local population consist of nomads sparsely located in different location, intelligence gathering will be so much difficult in that area... You can't compare that to your south east that is closely niched together...the Boko Haram issue is made complex because of the region involved with known Jihadist operating there for years... We are not just talking Nigeria but Niger, Mali( with Aqim and the Tuareg rebels), Tchad and the hostile Lake Chad region, northern Cameroon and the northern central African republic...all this elements make that region difficult with the growing insurgency around there...

Not surprised, when a president (buhari) decided to send soldiers out to hunt cattle rustlers instead of boko haram, cattles became more important than human beings in this administration.

The army on the other hand were busy helping Fulani herdsmen coordinate attacks and killing innocent Nigerians.

And then Soldiers were more interested in molesting, killing and fighting unarmed civilians on the streets of Nigeria without justice.

The police is killing innocent drivers over 50 naira bribe without justice.

Too many sins of the Nigerian Army!

Buhari is busy thinking about the security of his cows.. Asking you to farm, while buhari and his children are busy enjoying the best things of life, without a single sweat... And at the same time calling other youths lazy.

After 3 and half years, buhari has not been able to fish out those responsible for boko haram. Yet billions if Dollars have been spent on the fight against Boko haram.

Boko haram is just a political avenue for stealing money.

APC and Buhari are more interested in
Sen. Saraki.. Than delivery Good Governance to Nigerians.

Tinubu is busy nursing 2023 ambition.

Politicians are busy thinking about 2019 and their pockets.

Our youths are busy shouting sai baba, our youths are busy watching and celebrating criminals.

So you can see that No one cares about Nigeria.

Then what do you expect

One can summarily say that Nigeria is a failed state.

Everything is wrong with the very foundation of Nigeria itself.

This is why restructuring remains another option to help salvage this country, but buhari thinks otherwise.

If you die for this country, you died a foolish man.

I pity the soldiers that died in this attack, They died for nothing.. They wasted their God given lives for nothing.

The only people I feel for is their family, wives and children.

Because the army would deny they did not die as usual.... What a country!

If somebody most die, Let politicians lead!

God bless you richly. I love where you said and I quote '' You can see nobody cares for Nigeria'' .

Bro you are right. No one cares. Btw Nigeria is not a God's project if not he would have fixed long before now. The so called youths are most horrible.
