So only four Police men carried out the raid. From the post we got earlier, I thought the police officers came in large numbers, not knowing that only four officers actually went for the operation. I don't think the IG will send only four men for that type of operation, Edwin Clark as a person has not said anything bad about Buhari in recent time. May be because of the defection of some PDP big names in Delta state of recent to APC might be the reason why some bad guys want to spoil the president and APC name in the state to gain sympathy, it is possible. IGP needs to investigate who gave those officers the go-ahead. This is just my own observation.

The Nigerian Police Force has claimed that the raid on Edwin Clark's home is illegal and the five persons involved in the “unauthorised” search conducted at the home of the prominent Niger-Delta leader, have been detained.

Police spokesperson Jimoh Moshood said in a statement Tuesday night that not only was the raid illegal, the Inspector-General Ibrahim Idris has ordered immediate apprehension of the four officers and an informant who were identified as having participated in it.

“The Inspector-General of Police is not aware and did not order the raid of the residence of the Elder Statesman, Chief Edwin Clark,” Mr Moshood said while reacting to the Vanguard’s version of the story.

“Consequently,” Mr Moshood said, Mr Idris directed the detention and investigation of those involved.

“The outcome of the investigation will definitely be made public,” he said.

Mr Clark, considered one of the most influential leaders of the Niger Delta was a major backer of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan who lost the 2015 election to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Clark and other Niger Delta leaders, as well as some other Southern leaders, have since then been clamouring for a restructuring of the Nigerian federation.

In his reaction the to raid on his home, he wondered how a government would believe a 92-year-old man like him would stockpile arms and ammunition at home.

naaa, Jimoh Moshood no be woski police IG oh! Him na straightforward man. Those officers got tip with no court order to search in the first place. Dem wan form activity but dem forget say Eddy na senior man.

Even DSS dey collect court order to raid properties. My point here be say, its possible IG never ordered such

So, in essence, the leadership has lost control of the Police Force.

That's the typical Nigerian for you. Zero critical thinking ability. That's why Buhari and his evil minded team have been able to take Nigerians for a ride.

Though many of Buhari's handlers may not have the right or equivalent certificates to perform in their various offices just like their master-supreme, most of them have PhDs in Lying, Falsehood and Truth-denial!

Another set of scape goat police officers
This government and incompetence

Scape goat you said? If nothing is done you will complain, now action is being taking you still complain. If you are among those who don't believe that some people are being compromised to work against this government by painting the government bad, then you surely have a problem. And if you are also among those who suddenly forgot that we have overzealous police officers simply because buhari is the president, then I am sure you have fallen into the category of those that even if buhari marry a new wife for you today, you will definitely complain that one of her breast is bigger than the other.
